We stayed at the YMCA Salisbury and managed to get a Harbour View room for 1000HK/123AU per night. The rooms are pretty basic, queen bed, plasma lots of international channels including discovery, aust network, lots of sports and the location and view of the light show is perfect. We used the subway/metro all the time and it was a short...

The YMCA Salisbury has one of the best locations in Hong Kong and the price is very reasonable. Rooms are tidy and well equipped. Although they are a little more expensive, the harbour view rooms are just fantastic. For the price, I really don't think that there is a better place to stay in HK. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable, safe, friendly, great location on the Kowloon waterfront minutes from metro & Star Ferry & for Hong Kong very reasonably priced - what's not to like ? Has rooms at every price point from backpacker dorms to full suites - we usually stay in a partial view room which is very much like a Holiday Inn in terms...

It's not a 5 star accommodation. Hotel is huge, need some renovation, food is far from excellence, but location is perfect! It's next to the Nathan Road and Pennisula Hotel. Subway station is just round the corner, so you don't need to take cab from the airport and this is perfect location for staying in the best part of HKG...

Basic facilities, staff less helfpul, chlorine smell upon entering the hotel put us off. Food at the restaurant is very poor quality but there are other better options closeby. Beds were sagging and felt uncomfortable.

We just stayed at the YMCA and I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel or the people who work there. From the lovely upgraded room we received from the manager (thank you again!), to the housekeeper, to the restaurant staff, all were pleasent and obviously interested in providing optimal service. The location is fabulous (can you say tons...
