Room was good size but thats where the positives end. The bed was more like a slab of concrete with sheets on it - It was that hard. Pillows were so huge and heavy ridiculous really. The bathroom was so outdated and as soon as I opened the door it just reeked of mould. It was disgusting! There was mould...

Great hotel - ticks all the boxes: great location in Kowloon, near an MTR station, shopping and within a 10 minute walk from the pier. The only possible negative is the steep hill on the approach to the hotel, but only the elderly and the lazy should worry.

We went there in December 2011 and it was our second time. Excellent position in Kowloon - Tsimshatsui, rooms (we had a superior one on 7th floor) are good size, clean and modern. Very good bed linen and towels. Internet in room worked well. We didn’t have breakfast there. The staff is efficient and helpful. It is really at the...

The Stannford Hill hotel is located at the top of a very steep but short hill than is not much of a climb, especially since the garage has an entrance mid-way. Not expensive by Hong Kong prices, it is a wekk-kept hotel with good service and helpful staff. The restaurant specializes in buffet style meals, which I don't particularly like,...

I reached the hotel a couple of hours back after a long journey from Tucson, Arizona that took me over 26 hours. I was looking forward to crashing out as soon as I reached the hotel. Instead, I am looking at another hotel to move to because I cannot bear to stay for four nights that I am going to...

I was looking forward to a little shopping and relaxation in Hong Kong before heading home, and the Stanford Hillview Hotel certainly did not disappoint. The location is centrally located in Tsimshatsui and getting around is not a problem. Dining options galore in the area so I did not eat at the hotel's dining facilities. Any issues I had with...

I was upgraded to the superior rooms on the top floor, which have had a recent makeover by the looks of them. They are a decent size and what I would expect for the same amount of money in London. The hotel is right on a decent strip of bars and restaurants. Yes it's up a short hill, like 50...

My very first trip to Hong Kong was to deal with jet lag I was experiencing from flying back to Australia from Europe. Despite having to lug my 23kg suitcase up a steep road to the hotel, I was pleased that reception were able to allow me to check into my room at 8.30am (after a long 13 hour flight,...
