First of all, this hotel's room size and bed size caught my eyes while I was choosing a place to stay somewhere around Nathan road. After streaming through endless list of dodgy minuscule hotels, I've decided to go ahead with this hotel. Spacious room, modern decoration, comfortable bed, good sized toilet, friendly staff, convenient location! The only downside is the... More

We randomly stumbled across this hotel and luckily found a good deal on bookings.com to stay that day for 3 nights due to some unforeseen circumstances. We usually look up hotels and do a lot of research before staying but could't afford that luxury and to our surprise it was a great hotel! It is a bit hidden as reception... More

I booked this hotel for my parents and relatives after reading the good comments and I wasn't disappointed. Location was perfect: just come out of exit 'C' of Yau Ma Tei MTR, cross the road straight ahead of you, turn right, walk down that block, turn left to go up a slight hill and tata, you have reached the hotel.... You'd be pleased to learn that there is a recycle depot at the base of the lodge. We drop off unwanted clothes and shoes and toys and CDs and electrical appliances etc there so they can be re-used by those who want them.

Pluses: very bright closet area and bathroom. Practical tea station. However the design and bathroom amenities lacked thought and care. The toilet flush button is inaccessible as it is blocked by the seat cover. There was no bar soap but the soap dispenser was 1m away from the sink. Linens were limited to just 2 bath towels and a cotton... More

The Salvation Army set out to spread the Gospel and use Welfare for needy people as its important daily work. The Lodge is indeed good for people who want to have safe, clean accomodation at a reasonable price. It is easy tio reach. In fact, it is in the same building as the Salvation Army Headquarters. While the Salvationists are... More

Room is clean and hotel staff is friendly. Location is great which is 3mins walk to YMT MTR. The stop bus for Bus A21 direct to airport is just across the road. The ladies market, Temple St Market, Tung Choi St is within walking distance. There is a convenience shop besides the hotel. Generally a great place to stay. The... More

The room was quite spacious in terms of Hong Kong standards. It is within walking distance from A21 bus stop (Man Ming Lane), from the bus stop walk along Nathan Road towards the smaller numbers and turn left into Wing Sing Lane. To get back to the airport, take bus A21 from the bus stop at Public Square street along... More

This might be a rather safe location for women travellers in solo or group solo in Kowloon Pennisular of Hong Kong SAR of today. Despite the fact that the lodge is located near Wing Sing Lane at Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon, the taxi stand might need customers' critical screening as usual. When anyone have used taxi stand service at... More
