I can only suggest this hotels to everyone. Hotel is actually 1 step away from Jordan MTR station, and 5 minutes walk from the Temple street night market (simple chinese restaurant and good shopping-bargain opportunities). HSBC bank nearby, 7/11 2 minutes, Starbucks 5 minutes by walk. If you have some business to do in HK/Tsim Sha Tsui, I would suggest...

(-) I stayed here for 6 nights. The room was much smaller than what was shown on Agoda. On my 3rd and 4th night, I was bitten very badly by an insect while sleeping which resulted in multiple red spots on my legs, arm and chest. The reception remedied quickly the following morning upon my complaint by changing our room....

The room is simple with center table console to control all lights, aircon, and TV. Hot water is available anytime. All very clean. It's the location that is superb. Its along Nathan road with fast food chains on all sides, authentic, small Chinese restaurants at the back where you can sample their noodles or rice toppings. Jordan station of MTR...

Hotel is old , furniture is dated and room is small but neat and clean. Easily accessible by airport bus A21 bus stop : Prudential centre. Staff are helpful and friendly, giving timely advice on sightseeing.

The room size is bigger than expected. It can even fit in an extra bed! There's even a bathtub in my room. The location is great. It's just a minute walk from Jordan MTR station. There are plenty of eateries around. I wonder if it's the nature of Hongkonger... I hardly see hotel staff smile during my stay there.. Anyways,...

We recently stayed at Shamrock Hotel (December 2016) and we had a great experience here. The room was small but modern and clean but everything we needed was available. We had no mini fridge but didn't need one. We went with breakfasts to be included and the buffet was delicious. My favourites were the scrambled egg which was very tasty...

Had stayed there for 5D5N. Great service provided by the staff. Despite the rooms being small.....it is cosy enough for washing up and get the much needed rest for the following day itinery. Rooms are being cleaned daily and towels changed. The location is superb! Very near to the Jordan MTR so it is easier for you to get around....

First of all, I'd like to set proper expectation that i i am unsure what the regular prices are for other hotels here. To me personally the price is somewhere between mid range and pricey but you do get great service and a very good location. The hotel is located near a 7/11, subway entrance and money exchange that's just...

Situated right outside the Jordan MTR and along Nathan Road, it's the perfect jump-off point to anywhere in Hong Kong. I was with my mother on this trip and it was a great relief for her to have a hotel right above the metro after a day of going about. The standard room for two was just right for us....

OK so this is not a 5 star hotel and I am not going to compare things about the hotel accordingly. I would consider this hotel EXCELLENT for its location, cleanliness and price. I was actually very pleasantly surprised. It was really refreshing to see and feel how clean the hotel was considering its age. I have seen other reviews...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
