The hotel is in the Jordan area. About 8 mins walk to the Jordan MRT station. About 2 min walk to the bus stop to take the A21 bus to airport. Food is plenty in the area. The hotel is a bit old but the price is value for money. The room is small but that is expected from HK...

Easy reach by bus A21 from airport (also return) that saved a lot money (one way hkd33 and I see the running note on bus saying returning can get 50% while airport express is hkd100). But if you take MTR, you have to walk about 300 m from exit A (turn right at the exit and turn right again at...

Extremely small rooms. Ok? Fairly clean but definitely outdated and could use new furniture and carpets. During our stay - horrible smell coming out of shower area - however, we reported and by the time we returned everything was taken care of and back to normal!@! Right in the middle of downtown HongKong. Less than 2 blocks from the night...

Just a 5 minute walk to the hotel and nearby there are many eating places and a night market. The rooms are small but well equipped with tea making facilities, TV, etc. Staff helpful about...

We stayed here overnight, on route back to Australia after a European trip. The bed was comfortable and the room (although small with very low ceilings) was generally well equipped. There is a certain aging charm to the hotel. The staff were quite informative when asked questions and the doorman was most helpful. For the price we paid, the hotel...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
