I was planning on staying here, but THREE DAYS BEFORE MY STAY I was informed by email that THEY HAD CANCELED MY RESERVATION ABOUT TWO WEEKS EARLIER! Included in this email was their recommendation that i should book another Hotel ASAP. (as if it is that easy to find a cheap in HK when arriving in three days) DO NOT...

Small room , but quite comfy . The clearness still can be improve. The price is what you get. The staff is okay since they also have a lot over booked problem. The signage is clear in everywhere , how to settle some problems by yourself. I will be back if i am on the budget traveling.

The room is small but it is clean, cheap and has a central localization, close to subway, bus from/to airport and Ferry. The hotel also is close of many tourist attraction, as Night market, museums and shopping malls.

The room is small however I think this is just the Hong Kong way. It was really clean and enough for the two of us for 4 nights. The toilet situation is a little odd as it's a cubicle in the room but it was enough for a few days. It's in an excellent location and is situated right by...

The hotel is situated on Nathan Road, Kowloon which is a great location! It is on the next street from the Night Market, 15 minutes walking distance from the famous Ladies Market and next to the MTR. Micro really means micro with this hotel. Our room fit a 3/4 (small) double bed, a bed side cabinet and our two rucksacks...

We stayed in this hotel because we had to get to the airport for 7 am flight and as we would have to leave at around 3pm it was good and cheap option to get some sleep before flight and then there is night bus directly to the airport just outside the hotel. The room was clean but really micro...

Ive read reviews saying that this has a good location, but after being in Hong Kong three times and I can say that location is just average. With a bunch of luggages to carry, its quite a walk from the Yau Ma Tei station (better than Jordan station). The good thing is that the hotel is the Temple Street Market...

We booked a double room with a shared bathroom for two nights at Micro Hotel. We arrived earlier than check in and were able to leave our luggage whilst the room was being cleaned. When we returned we were upgraded to a double room with ensuite. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was comfy and the bathroom...

So we booked it because of the good reviews. Once we arrived the check in was easy, there wasn't any. Our name with the key and some instructions was hanging on the whiteboard so easy! Once we arrived at the room it was micro, and I mean really micro. My girlfriend and I just came from a hostel where we...

This is the 3rd time I visited to HK. Most of the budget hotel in Kowloon is really nearby to night market or some sightseeing spots as there's a lot of MTR exit to make our journey easier. Micro hotel is between Yaumatei and Jordan station. You might drop off at Yaumatei station for a shorter distance. Hotel is located...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
