Detailed Reviews
Another staycation weekend for my parents. We were at ONE96 just the weekend before for father’s day. My mom left her airtamer at ONE96 and the fantastic Kylie (front desk staff at ONE96) arranged for it to be picked up at Jervois.
Arrived at Jervois and was greeted by name immediately by front desk staff Marco.
Comparison vs ONE96
Jervois
* Bigger rooftop with more space to relax and lounge chairs facing the peak on one side, and an outdoor area facing the harbour
* The Jervois is on a small side street has more aromatic coffee shops and restaurants within a one block radius vs ONE96 which is on a main artery like road (Queens Road )
* Has a tiny gym on first floor in lieu of the small indoor lounge at ONE96
* no in room washing machine like ONE96. There are communal ones on the first floor
* Room layout felt more spacious at ONE96 (but likely same size)
* View was better and room was brighter at ONE96, and felt slightly more private as one suite per floor only
* both suites were pristine
At the end of the day I was impressed by both supremely well designed service apartments but prefer ONE96 slightly over the Jervois.
Just remember this is not a hotel but a service apartment.
Both places I’d happily come back to.

Booked 1 night at Booking.com 12xx which included a breakfast and late check out till 2pm
Breakfast is good at Kaffe, and also use the $100 coupon for coffee beans at cafe life
Room is super spacious and with high privacy as each floor have 2 rooms it separate by the fire exit and you shall never see your “neighbour” at all.
Check in is efficient and the reception lady is very kind and helpful who also help out to send the ice bucket to us.
Kitchenette was requested during the reservation stay, and it’s preset in the room already. We do enjoy cooking that night, it would be better if they could also provide kitchen towel as we could only settle ourselves using the bathroom one😂
Overall, a very good one night stay and probably will be back

I stayed one month for work. Housekeeping and front desk service was prompt, helpful and friendly. Location is excellent for transit and dining. On request, housekeeping provided some extras for the tiny kitchen that weren't already there at move-in. Not a big deal, but Stereo in the living room was too old to be used to stream music, however the TV supported wireless connection so I was able to stream movies from my PC to the TV. The website could provide more information like layouts, but photos on the web were faithful to the room.
Some service apartments in HK are using apps to show residents the status of the shared laundry room- saves you making multiple trips up and down the lift checking if the machines are available. Jervois should check into doing that as well.
If I had been paying out of my own pocket, I'd have sacrificed a bit on the location and size for a lower price elsewhere.

+1
Amazing! This hotel is in 10 min walking of the main area in hong kong. The rooms are like small apartments with everything you need for your stay. Rooms with large windows facing to the high buildings. It has a gym in the 1st floor and laundry facilities you can use them for free as many times you want. When I arrived I granted with 200 HK dollars to use in the bar next to the hotel. My stay in this place could not be better.

The location of Jervois is perfect, less than 5 mins walk to the MTR. Heaps of good cafe and restaurants to choose from for meals and coffee breaks. Staff are super friendly. I enjoyed my little getaway with my sister for 2 nights.

Located in the heart of city centre, this Jervois suite took my heart with floor to ceiling window and beautiful design. Behind the door was a well-equipped living room, with a hidden door to divide from the bedroom. I really enjoyed the city view that surrounded the sofa. The bedroom is very clean and not heavily decorated, allows me to really relax and rest. I also like hotel's respect for privacy, each flat got its exclusive elevator to its floor, no awkward corridor look from neighbour. Front desk staffs was friendly. It is great to see the hotel partnered with nearby restaurants to provide four breakfast spot options.

We stayed here for 1 month upon arrival to HK. The staff were absolutely wonderful. All the front desk staff and all the cleaning staff were so warm and really catered to my and my young family's needs. Room was kept exceptionally clean. Great bathroom/shower. It was certainly a 5 star experience. Local amenities are right on your doorstep too with local eateries and wide food selection everywhere you look. Gym is small but good enough for routine light workout.

The front desk, hotel management team and the cleaning lady in the hotel were fantastic. They were very helpful and kind. They treated guests well and provided the best service to guests. The hotel is equipped with a fitness center and self-service laundry room. The room is spacious which included a kitchen and a living room, and most importantly, the room is very clean, quiet and well decorated :)
There are multiple breakfast options can be chosen from. Location wise is perfect as it is near SOHO, central and MTR station. I enjoyed my stay and i recommend you to choose the Jervois for your journey in HK!!

We stayed at The Jervois for 9 months while my husband was on an assignment in HK. The staff was incredible and accommodating to our new family (our first child was born during our stay). While all the staff were amazing, there was one staff member who really stood out - Ms. Lee Lin. Ms. Lee Lin always went above and beyond her duties to make us feel comfortable and accommodated our ever changing schedule that comes with having a new baby. She was always so kind and friendly! We will surely miss seeing her everyday. Overall, it was a great experience and we hope to be back in the future!

The Jervois is such a nice place to stay in town. The room is cozy and lovely. We love the interior design so much. Wood tone design in the living room makes us feel like coming home. Compared to other hotels(not service apartments), The Jervois provides bigger rooms and living spaces to guests.
There are so many good delis around, even though The Jervois doesn't have its own restaurant, you will never get bored to walk around the district and discover nearly all kinds of cuisines.
The entrance of the place was kinda hard to find but the receptionist(Sorry we forgot her name) gave us a big warmth welcome which is really sweet.
We highly recommend this place if you are staying in town!
