My new wife and I spent 4 nights at the Cosmopolitan Hotel as part of our honeymoon in September of 2013. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant member of the front desk staff who checked us in and upgraded us to a Racecourse view room on the 9th floor. This is slightly larger than a standard and...

The hotel decoration is very nice, our rooms was very small on the 25th floor. Nobody to assist you with your bags when you check in. The bathrooms are done nicely and the beds are comfy, however they need to change the pillows.

The rooms are big as per HK standard rooms. Very clean. Shower area however is a tad bit small, considering that I am just 5'2". So for others, it would be quite a struggle to wash their backs:) Near bus stops but still on the quiet part of the neighborhood. A/C can get a little bit too cold so I...

Best thing about Cosmopolitan Hotel is the People and the Staff Working there. Extremely helpful, always willing to go out of way to assist the guest. Nice view, Small rooms but guess value for money. Convenient location, central point. Good hygienic and clean rooms and bathroom. Good Service.

A few days after I checked out on 28 September, I received a generic 'Dear guest" email from the hotel manager, asking for my suggestions. I replied: Thanks for asking. I was surprised that no one at the front desk asked me how my stay was when I checked out. If I were the manager, I would insist that front...

Our 2nd trip to Hong Kong and we thought we'd try a different location. It's perfect for Happy Valley, being literally just across the road and tram, but is a bit of a trek to the MTR / Wan Chai. The walk didn't bother us too much but some might find it a bit off the beaten track. The room...

The staff are very polite and even offered me and my wife a welcome wine bottle (for free). The rooms are a bit small but very clean and high class. I would definately recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a safe, clean and classy place to sleep.

I have stayed at this hotel during my business trip. Hotel is not worthy for the money I have spent. Rooms are smaller and clumsy. Hotel staff are also not co-operative and polite. Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
