it's very hard to find cheap accommodations in HK, but yiufai is a good enough choice if you won't be spending much time in your room. being a regular traveler in HK, i expected the rooms to be quite small, but they ended up being a bit more spacious than what i thought. the air conditioning in our room didn't...

After searching many websites and trying to find the absolute optimum cheap guest house in Hong Kong, I picked Yiufai, but probably didn't need to stress so much. Yiufai is located in the same building as who knows how many other almost identical operations, and my understanding is you may end up in any of them. The online booking process...

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a definitely a hassle-free transaction. We arrived earlier than the check- in time so our room was still occupied. We just left our bags in Mr. Tran's office. Mr. Tran also helped us in getting around hongkong. He was kind enough to show us how to get to places....

The negative first since what I have to say after this is all positive: Room confusion - I booked a twin room but when we got there, there were no twin rooms available at the main guest house. So Mr. Raymond Tan offered an alternative: we stay the night at his aunt's room which he said was exactly like the...

We stayed in the Yiu Fai Guest house for 4 nights and had really great stay beyond expectations. The Yiufai guest house has different types of rooms at two separate floors (with different names - maybe partners). So choosing right room is important and if you find a room with private bath then I'd say that it is one of the...

On a business trip with my wife and thought of just booking the cheapest that we could get at a good location. We only needed a place to sleep. Anyway, the moment we got in, my wife wanted to leave. Good thing I was able to pacify her. The facility came as a shocker to us, I guess, since we...

I stayed in Yuifai for 4 days and 3 nights. Booked a deluxe room with twin bed at 350hkd per night. Booked it via email to Mr. Raymond Tran and paid the deposit (one night worth) through paypal. Its actually a hassle-free booking because Mr. Tran is prompt in answering the emails. They provide new towels everyday (yes they change...

they really have cheap rooms and the guy who assisted us is very kind and accommodating. If we will go back to hongkong, we will definitely choose this guest house again. however, what i don't like is the smell on the hall way due to other tenants (from different countries). maybe it's because of what they eat but still, the...

I stayed there 6 nights for business in last April 2011. This guesthouse is extremely well located, just a few meters from MTR station, a few minutes' walk to the Star Ferry. Lots of good restaurants, stores and shopping mall nearby. Fair price, good quality. Room with AC, TV, working desk and pantry definitely bigger than other Guesthouses/Hostels I used...
