Wonderful hotel and no doubt the No.1 5 star hotel for Llhasa. We give it a solid 4 stars based on US hotels. Only issue we had was the day we arrived the hotel told us we didn't have a room until the next day and that China Highlights had booked the first day as the next day. Our guide...

The decors are just stunning and great food, best room with great view. You shouldn't visit Lhasa in winter, it gets super cold and my experience with cold is I can't walk and explore as comfortable as other seasons. Experience clean air above tree line, dress appropriately as folks here are bit conservative and shy.

nested in the city centre of Lhasa, St Regis offers tastefully designed suites and tranquility. Enter the hotel and you will be greeted by the White Tara - the Goddess of Beauty and Compassion. With different Tibetan statues anchored around the lobby, the hotel is energetically protected and charged. Love the energy of the staff who all have smiling faces...

My best impressions of the St. Regis were the decor, the fabulously spacious grande deluxe room (with enormous bathroom), and the view of Potala Palace. It was fun to wonder around the hotel's public spaces and study the various crafts and books -- almost like being in the library of a big home owned by someone very well traveled. The...

Good location as it is walking distance to Bakhor. At this moment, there are limited choices for luxurious hotel in lhasa and St regis is probably one of the 2 that i have located. The bedroom is huge - interior and room facilities live up to its brand. Good heating facilities and humidifier is provided in room. Breakfast is fair,...

We spent one night at the St Regis at the end of a 10 day trip from Lhasa to EBC and back and what a great way to end our time in Tibet! After days of cold, no heat and no hot water, it was so nice to retreat to this property at the end of our trip! The staff...

Earlier in our trip we stayed at another highly rated property in town. I can tell you that this place was better. The location was not as convenient as the other was. The facility was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Now that Marriott owns them I am confident that the few comments I would make will be...

Upon our arrival to Lhasa last week we stayed at the Shangri-La and were very disappointed so upon our return we thought we would try the St. Regis. It is what you would expect of a five star facility in such an out of the way place. Our room was spacious, well appointed, with double sinks separated by counter space,...

I stayed at this hotel twice in December 2016 (for arriving and then departing Tibet for a total of 5 nights in Lhasa). I'm a SPG Platinum and was travelling outside of peak season, as such a lot of Tibet was quieter, including the hotel (this was a deliberate decision on my behalf). Both times I booked a rate that...

We stayed here on two separate occasions - once in the deluxe king room and second time in a deluxe room with a view of the Potala Palace. The hotel itself is beautifully furnished and is conveniently located in the heart of Lhasa. The rooms were both comfortable and large. The staff at the reception/check in were great and responsive...
