We stayed here for three nights. It was Christmas time and Jakarta was so calm. Come and make the trip during this period and you will see a different Jakarta compared to normal time. The hotel located within Ciputra World 2 where people always confused this hotel with the one next to Lotte Avenue. Although the location is not very friendly to most people, we enjoyed our privacy here during the stay. It is also within walking distance to local food and shopping mall. It also has starbucks and family mart within the development too!
As usual, the brand conceptually represents an apartment/residence hotel instead of the normal hotel room. It was a studio suite with functional kitchenette together with washer and dryer.
The unit was huge for three of us. Although we did not get the same as the one in the photos during our booking, this unit is good enough as it overlooking Kuningan area heading towards Tanah Abang. The view was good although the weather was not so good that time. The interior was average but the deco items are quite nice.
The toilet comes with separate WC and shower/tub. The problem with it is that it has sliding doors without any lock from inside. If you have a kid, embarrassingly he might come and slide it open while you are inside.
The facilities are good although the swimming pool is too small. The only not so memorable experience here was the breakfast. The spread was little and the food were not so overwhelming. We thought we could have some good croissant with coffee but both just an upset.
Overall the stay was above average. We like it.
Just remember if you ordered anything from go-jek/grab, make sure to mention the apartment is within Ciputra World 2, accessible via Tokopedia Tower.

The good
1) nice spacious and modern property.
2) the vibe when you walk in good & spacious. What you would expect from a 5 star property.
3) staff are warm and professional.
4) the studio rooms are spacious and well furnished. Bed, couch, table, kitchenette, washrooms - all feel just right. You may have to use that remote for the AC though. Lighting switches, power sockets etc. are well placed.
5) wifi is good although without a password, feels slightly less secure.
6) the breakfast is good. It’s not an elaborate spread, but it is not too basic either. There is an egg station outside the AC area. I am fussy about a good breakfast & I wasn’t complaining. There are also slight daily variations - so you are not bored by breakfast if you are staying for a few days.
6) close to Lotte mall (7 mins brisk walk, 10 if you are like me). It’s a good mall. You won’t miss much.
The bad:
1) It’s a bit of a struggle for cabs to find this hotel, despite the building being a gigantic one. It’s next to the tokopedia tower. Multiple times, a he cabbie dropped me at the exit behind the hotel, at one time prompting me to jump over a fence in a suit. Clearer instructions and signboards on the roads leading up to the hotel will help.

Nice, clean and comfortable serviced apartment. Location is not so convenient and people often get confused between the other Ascott services apartment nearby and Ascott Sudirman.
Breakfast spread is sufficient. One of the staff was coughing continuously without closing his mouth without a tissue paper and another lady staff combing her hair near the food ( breakfast time). Attention is required on handling of food by the staff.

The property itself is nice. Had one bedroom suite which amenities were just right. What would have made a good stay turned into poor service were the front desk staff.
They put up an announcement for shuttle service to MRT and has a timetable from Monday to Friday starting at 7am and half an hour therein until 830am.
Apparently it wasnt a shuttle like you would imagine. They actually booked a cab for you free of charge from their property to the closest MRT station. One would have thought wow what a service.
After 10 minutes of waiting, an inquiry made to the front desk staff who said it is near Lotte which supposed to be 2 minutes away.
Another 10 minutes has passed, the front desk staff insisted the cab is still at lotte. I asked if we could called the taxi company. The staff, Rosa, seemed reluctant at first and finally called after a strong request was made. I also made the call myself. And at the end of over 30 minutes waiting we got our own transport instead.
Whilst the issue may seem like taxi company problem, what I found lacking is the service. Why would you announce shuttle service at certain times when in fact you dont have it? People rely on this kind information to manage schedules. The front desk staff didnt have the attitude to help their guests and let alone have the initiatives to do more. When asked for commentary card, so the note on their shuttle service can be passed on to the relevant unit, they gave me a piece of paper like the one you’ll find at your bedside.
Thus leading to this post.

Usually we will ensure that there are 2 to 3 taxis on standby during these times as it is the peak period and getting a taxi would be difficult or guest would inform us a day ahead so that we can arrange accordingly. Unfortunately there were no taxis available on that particular day thus leading to the delay. Our team will continue to work with Bluebird to ensure that there are taxis on standby during the busy periods so as to avoid a similar incident in future. Overall the residence looks very nice but I found dirty water kettle. I was staying with my 3-month old baby. They didn’t have baby bath. With $$$ price for breakfast buffet I was hoping of full course of breakfast like in any other big starred hotels but it was very limited and all carbs.

Booked a one bed premier room. The room was larger than I would expect, but the plus points for me were (i) the simple modern design of the apartment and (ii) the master bedroom along its bathroom. The amenities were also perfect, WiFi and TV were fully working. Room was clean and tidy, and even smell good (because there was a kitchen so I would anticipate there would be residual smell of the kitchen. Will definitely going back again for another staycation.

What will happen when you get more than what you expect? Satisfaction! That's what I got when I was staying at Ascott Sudirman. To be honest, I was captivated by their interior photos, even though I only wanted to stay for one night. When I entered the room, I found everything to be perfect, as I expected: a large bed, private kitchen, a comfortable work space, and a spacious bathroom (plus a bathtub!). Because of their strategic location, I was able to enjoy a very magical view of Jakarta from where I was staying - and it looked even more beautiful at dusk and at night. Absolutly satisfying and surely value for money. Best staycation ever!

Everything is awesome, especially the city view! Really love it! Cookware and tableware are perfectly equipped, recommended for long stay vacay. However, I bit disappointed with the cleanliness, when touring the room, the floor feels bit dusty and found gypsum flakes on couch. So, need to call housekeeping to vacumm entire apt room again.

we enjoyed our stay in this property. check in process was a breeze. the car park facility is a great bonus. also the washing machine and induction stove. the cleaning staffs were also very helpful, pity we didnt take their names.
the room service were cheap and excellent tasting too.
worth mentioning Bernard Siew the Residence Manager who took time to write personally instead of the usual auto generated emails. :)

They don’t have airport transport. The only thing you could do is to take Blue Bird Taxi to Ascott which probably going to cost you around IDR 250.000 excluded from highway fee (around IDR 25.000)
