I had four nights at Six Degrees and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful especially the twin sisters. I like the beds in the dorm rooms, they were 'pods'with curtains rather than the usual bunk beds. Very private and comfortable. Good showers with plenty of hot water. Nice lounge and a bar on the roof with...

Lovely people in a great hostel. When you've travelled a lot you notice the wide range of quality when it comes to getting the best value for money. What makes this one of the good non dodgy ones is the security around. There are lots of stories of staff stealing guests things and not feeling safe in various Asian hostels,...

A nice hostel with lots of things to do. Pool table, TV, Lounge, Rooftop garden with a bar, small gym and a kitchen. It's bigger than I thought and I met a lot of cool people. If you stay there for the weekend, specially on sunday, go to the landfill. Ask at the reception for Jon and they will help...

We spent 4 nights here prior to travelling on to Cambodia, mainly getting over our jet-lag and re-acquainting ourselves with Jakarta. In terms of location, 6 Degrees is excellently placed. There are several first class restaurants within easy walk, a huge open air swimming pool within 300 metres, and a really good, cheap takeaway over the road. The hostel is...

As a first timer overseas backpacker i find this place cool enough to stay. I arrived Jakarta past 2 a.m. Before i arrived Jakarta, i requested the staff who accommodated me through email that if possible i can get the lower bunk bed because i don't want to disturb the other occupants in the room. True enough they got it...

The rooms are unreal, like private rooms in a dorm room. Every bed has got his own fan, powerplug and bed light. I was super surprised with this bed! Indoor cinema, pooltable, rooftop bar, happy hour, free wifi (very good and fast wifi) and free breakfast. Very friendly staff and located next to an 7eleven.

I didn't really like Jakarta that much. So I spent more time in the hostel and loved it. There is so much you can do and the rooms are clean (bathrooms could be cleaner, but they are okay) and the staff is really fun, nice and helpful. Also the other people who stayed here were very nice and open. Met...

Six Degrees is so good its taken me a year of reflection and deliberation to figure out how to say how good it is. And it is good. If it hadn't of been for this hostel, i might be dead but because of the Six Degrees family i transcended to a level of blessment that can not even be achieved...

Stayed here for a couple nights at the beginning of our Indonesia trip. I have been to many hostels in SE Asia and this one is up there for sure. Nice lounge area on the main floor, has a pool table, cinema room, etc., and just a very easy place in general to meet and chat with other travelers. The...
