We stayed at this hotel for three nights and were very satisfied with their services. There was a variety of food options at the main restaurant buffet & the lounge, which we found really incredible.

And besides, they weren't bother about changing our room for another one right the nexy day that didn't smell of smoke, which we both really appreciated.

One thing that I felt a little uncomfortable with was that you couldn't do anything about the noise from outside. I think all the windows of this building weren't made of double pane window.

I went here for a business trip with my colleague and stayed at the hotel for a week. I must say, what a level of hospitality and care the hotel staff displayed.
Everyone ranging from the doorman to the manager, server to the housekeeping staff were simply fantastic. The La Brasserie team even remembered our names from the second day and made us feel welcome everytime we went for breakfast.
Special mention to Denia from housekeeping (I hope I spelt her name right) and another member whose name I unfortunately cannot remember. Not only they kept the room clean, they also placed towel art (swan and stingray) in the room. Really lovely touch!
I highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for genuine hospitality across all levels of the hotel 😊

During this trip, I was given one of the hotel’s newly renovated suites and the stay was very pleasant. The hotel provides a wide range of dinning options and it is a great place for lunch with ample space for meetings and discussions. The hotel staff were all very friendly and the service was just outstanding. Compliments to Adie @ the Front Desk, Mengala @ La Brasserie, Ridwan @ Al Nafoura, Sera Nurma @ the Club Lounge.

Run down hotel and very old
needs a lot of renovation to match the standards of a category 4 hotel
it is definitely expensive - not great value for money. You almost get the feeling that its only money that matters to them and service doesn't.
the staff needs training on etiquette & anticipating customer needs.

I travel to jakarta quite frequently and i have stayed in this hotel a couple of times last year , stayed in other hotels in the meanwhile . I thought i should try it again hoping things would have improved.
I would probably not go back again.

I chose this 5 star hotel for my 7 day quarantine stay, as the previous reviews of Le Meridien Hotel looked quite good, I felt I had chosen the right hotel. The pick-up from the airport worked well. The hotel as a whole is quite dated, as the furnishings and the bathroom are certainly a good 30 years old, you can also tell by the swimming pool, as I had a view of it from my room, as well as of a ruined building and the motorway. The hotel is surrounded by motorways on all sides and you can hear the traffic accordingly. I had to pay 2.66 million rupiah every day for the quarantine package, about 1.5 million for accommodation and 1.1 million for food. I thought that I would get good food for a hefty 65€/day, but this was a big disappointment. The quality and quantity of the food was generally not good..When I complained, they tried to improve it.
I was able to choose something other than what was on the list for the main meals, for example cheeseburgers, etc., which also tasted good. But the spaghetti bolognese was again miserable, the chopped was gristly and the spaghetti was overcooked and the whole thing was then heated in the microwave (the spaghetti stuck to the plate) and served.
I think a hotel of this category should pay more attention to its quarantine guests, because they are not allowed to leave the room for 6 days and therefore the meals should be a HighLike for the guests, who can look forward to it. If the hotel would ask the guest if everything is alright (this is also called service), then there would be no complaints, but this is completely missing in this "5" star hotel. It was only when I pointed this out that I was asked on the penultimate day if everything was all right. You sometimes get the impression when the food is delivered to the door: "eat or die".
To their credit, the service was always very friendly and helpful.
Conclusion: what you get here, definitely does not correspond to the price you pay for it

I was going through some hotels for me and my friends to have a long due staycation that we have been dying for. For a couple of months we’ve been skimming through a lot of hotels and landed on Le Meridien Jakarta because we haven’t been there once. Comes D-day and we arrive at the hotel pretty amazed at how glamorous this hotel looks given that it has some age to its name. The staff was really welcoming and friendly. Our stay there was astounding. I really recommend the No Na Ma restaurant because it is a bang for your bucks. Where else could you found an all you can eat sushi for less than Rp250.000 in Jakarta? Bet there’s none. We’ve ordered some room service at separate times and they delivered the food and drinks at a really quick pace. The morning after we decided to use pool and it was really clean even though it was windy and leave was blowing all over the place. Thumbs up to the housekeeping staff. Anyway the breakfast was pretty astonishing too. With large amounts of selection, and lightning speed refill, the service was impeccable. Love it, would hoping to come again some time later 👍

We choose Le Meridien Hotel for our children wedding reception for some reasons. The location is super, at the heart of Jakarta. Its very easy to call a grab/gocar to pick us up from lobby. Their lobby also disable people friendly (no steps) and they care about health regulations. There's a Citywalk food mall near the hotel like 15 minutes walking distance. And if you happened to be there on Sunday, car free day is just in front of the hotel. You can dance on boulevard if you like

Mr. Azumar, a hotel staf who assist us is a very friendly and funny guy, makes communication between hotel and us smooth and clear. I think is quite challenging to organize our needs, specially on D Day, since we booked around 20 bedrooms plus function rooms with some arrangements. But he can handle it well. With smile.

The Deluxe room is big. We have King size bed like 200x200. And the twin bed also huge, like 2x160x200cm. There are 4 bottle of water as a compliment. All rooms has iron an also the board. Others are standard 5 star hotel. Dont forget to check cards on the table. I just know that we have free a cup of coffee after we checked out. And they also gives us free entry to some historical sites at the town. But you have to arrange that first at the Front Office. The new wed was in Presidential suite, which has everything in your house.

I also love they let us having breakfast for hours. Since all big family were there, breakfast time at the coffee shop was like family reunion. They have Continental, Indonesian, American, Indian, Chinese breakfast buffet menu. Try Jamu, Indonesian traditional herbs drink. And you can also have fresh juice made after you order.

What else? oh they have smoking room as well. Not happy to promote this. But yea. On weekend, you can chill with live music at the open bar located near the lobby.

I was approached by a sales person to buy indulge membership. I bought 6 of them through this sales person, paid them in full. However due to covid, we were not able to use those membership. I asked the indulge, and they let us extend ONE month only, for all six indulge membership. This of course create a problem, to use 12 room we have already paid IN ADVANCE in quite short period of time. I even asked if the voucher can be extended just another month, they refused to do that. Well, I can understand the policy, but not able to comprehend the Le Meridien Indulge people’s ignorance to the covid situation that made us unable to stay there. ( Once we booked for rooms and had to completely cancel all reservations due to covid infection to our family).
At one other reservation, as my wife arrived in the lobby, she was told that the room were fully booked, and they told her to accept a standard room, instead of Junior Suite that we already booked and paid well in advance, before the day of arrival.
On another day, our family member, which booked 3 rooms, were refused to enter the dining using the voucher, the reason they offered was “ it was full”. This was a humiliating experience, to us.
Le Meridien through indulge treated us like a family who beg for free food and refused.
Im still considering going to Lembaga Perlindungan Consumen, (consumer protection agency) to discuss this case, please remember we paid millions for 6 Indulge membership well in advance, yet we were not getting what we paid for.

I travel a lot for business and usually use five star chain hotels. This was my first visit to Le Mer in Jakarta and this property did not disappoint. I used the hotel on two occasions on this trip. The airport pickup was excellent and I was escorted through baggage claim and into a waiting car by two helpers. Arrival and checkin was a breeze and they even managed to find my Marriot rewards membership. Both rooms I stayed in were among the top quality I have experienced, they were clean and smelled good. The bathroom was spotless. I was delighted with the hotel's laundry service - I had some laundry that I put in late and the hotel kept my dry cleaning for me when I returned for the second time that week. I love the gym, especially the friendly staff. The Japanese restaurant which has a great NoNaMa name (no name in Indonesian) was good - I had the unagi set and it was great; but the chawan mushi could have been better (I guess it was not freshly steamed). Breakfast was good. The dinner buffet was not great as the food seemed to have been sitting around for a while, but that's what you get at 8.30 on a weekday.

The staff were excellent, especially the bellhops and front counter staff. They actually ran for my taxi!
I will definitely stay here again should I be in the city. I am fussy and could not find anything wrong with the condition, running or service of this property.

You can stay in this hotel when visit jakarta, butvthe room rate is very fluctuation and the cheapest one during ramadhan. Breakfast is good with many choice. The location is crowded but near MRT station

It is old and I guess for a IHJ hotel, it really needs work. They told me when I stayed there that they were updating and my room happened to be one of the ones not yet updated. The staff is nice and the location is great

There are Pullman Jakarta at Sudirman Street and Pullman Central Park at Let. Jend S Parman Street. From Le Meridien Jakarta to Pullman Jakarta or Hotel Kempiski, by taxi only takes 10-15 minutes (normal time). But to Pullman Central Park takes longer time around 45 minutes (normal time).
