I was here at the start of an Intrepid tour. It is a good basic budget hotel worth staying just one night. Located close to Gongdangdia train station and some nice restuarants. A taxi from here to the old town costs $5. You are also within walking distance of the Merdeka Park and Monas. Breakfast was basic and the rooms...

I'm not hard to please, especially when I pay bargain prices, but this place was a dump!

I stayed here just for one night as I did not like the location of this hotel at all as it was to far away from everything, it has large old rooms that need a good renovation, but clean and friendly staff.

With the Package Price and Good Breakfast, I consider Hotel Bumi Johar is very competitive for its class. The Spacious Room gives you plenty freedom. Lobby are nice with many guests around Indonesia and staff are very helpful. With Budget Price; what else you can ask for. Good Value especially Bumi Johar is in the Central of jakarta which famous...

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The windows did not shut properly so the room was full of mosquitos, and the toilet did not fill up again for hours after it was flushed. I moved rooms, and the same 2 issues occurred in the second room. The bathrooms were not clean and there were small bugs/cockroaches in there. The...

I only visited the hotel for one night on August 18, 06. Hotel Bumi Johar is supposed to be a budget hotel. From the décor it seems that the hotel was established around the late 80s and haven’t had ay thought of redecorating ever since. The bathroom pictures appear old (fortunately all of the fixtures work) and the rooms that...
