Rarely am I a raving fan of a hotel that I stay at. Yet at Andelis Homestay, he created such a fan. In America, we call these places "Bed & Breakfast." We arrived at 7 am and because he had rooms available he let us check in early and on the last day, check out late. This type of hospitality...

Well organized, clean and lovely staff. We get to the hotel at 4 am and they were waiting for us at the door. Plus, they told us to sleep all we want and they'd do the breakfast whenever we wake up. The breakfast is very good, with coffee, eggs, toast and local food (it changes every day). Also the owner...

The place is lovely, super clean, big room and tv and fast wifi. Bram is a super helpful & friendly, he goes above and beyond, giving you lifts, full of advice and telling you how much things should really cost when bartering..The water dispenser in each room is a brilliant touch, no need to remember to buy bottled water. An absolute must if you come to Yogya. Bram is such a great host. He has shown us all the places of interest and arrange a lot of things for you. Furthermore he has a lot of good but also important hints for going in the city centre (using the Transjogja, places and people you should avoid, ...). We were...

We have been travelling around SE Asia for 3 months and this was easily the best place we have stayed so far. The hospitality from Bram and his family was incredible. They even went to the trouble of inviting us to a bbq on the last night and didn't charge us for any food (I had about 15 of the...

We stayed for 4 days with Bram and his family in this lovely homestay. Bram and his wife are very friendly, with good English, and the accommodation was comfortable and clean. We took up the offer of a tour to see Borobudur and Prambanan, dropping in on a traditional sugar maker's cottage, it was a really fun day and Bram...

I only stayed here for 3 days but it was definitely fun. I wish I stayed longer. Room is clean, good service, delicious meal and it feels like I'm at home. Bram and his wife are both accomodating and really nice. Bram even knocked my room twice in the morning just to inform me of my tour which is nice...
