This lovely place deserves more business. The villas are spacious, beautifully furnished with local teak furniture, tiles and ceramics, and extremely clean and well maintained. The gardens are immaculate, full of tropical fruit trees, orchids, butterflies and birds and contain a lovely pool. It was wonderful to retire to the quiet oasis after the hustle and bustle of Jogja.

Stayed here during the Christmas long week holiday with my parents and kids for 5D/4N. This hotel is located in a secluded area within the neighborhood, and far from the busy streets, yet close walking distance shall you find that shortcut road from hotel to the main street. The interior design is made rustic and traditional Yogyakartan with many Javanese...

I just loved this hotel. By western standards it may be lacking but I really took to it. After a week in Bali, staying at some more upscale places, the room appointment seemed a bit down scale but in fact it had everything and then some. The room itself was large, bed very comfortable, and it had a overhead fan...

I always struggle with ratings, should they be absolute (5 star wins every time) or compared to the price you paid I think it only fair you take in the price and with that in mind Duta gardens scores 5/5. At £25 per night I wasn't expecting much but in some respects it's absolutely fabulous. The gardens are superb and...

The hotel is set not far from the center of Yogyakarta. Although the city is very chaotic, the hotel his an oasis of tranquility with its small, beautifully landscaped gardens and a nice pool. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning and toiletries are provided. Breakfast is simple but good, offering fresh juice, tea and coffee, fruit, toasted...

Duta Garden Hotel, Jogyakarta: 1) Hotel Service: only at the front desk but very helpful Room: we had the normal room. Not the villa. AQ was on arctic but there is a remote on the wall. The bed was ok. You have a small terrace in front and chairs. The room is nothing special. Sanitary Areas: clean, including a tub...

Our Round Trip through Indonesia starts at Yogya and the Duta Garden Hotel was our first hotel. Yogya is very busy and loud. But the Duta Garden is a little paradise between all the scooters and people. The hotel is located in a small side street. There you hear no traffic. The rooms are nice and clean. The pool is...

Beautiful oasis in the tourist area of Yogyakarta. We stayed in a large room on the bottom floor of a two storey cottage for a week while visiting Yogyakarta. The garden setting is fabulous with waterfalls everywhere including in the pool. The staff were helpful. The breakfast is OK but I would recommend eating elsewhere for other meals. Restaurants and...

Our room was beautiful and well equipped. The grounds of the hotel are very well maintained and it has a lovely small swimming pool. The staff were friendly and helpful - and brought us cakes and tea in the afternoon. Breakfast was average!

“The regular rooms, as opposed to the deluxe rooms are in a different place and they are nice. The deluxe rooms are dark and larger, and rather luxurious, with better bathrooms and fridges. Both have pools. We were very happy with the regular, and it was a bit cheaper. There's a lot to choose from and we saw a lot of rooms before deciding on ours.”
