We stayed one night there. The place was nice at a reasonable price (2000 pesos = 40 euros per night). Nice view on the beach at the last floor with balcony. The bed was good, the air conditioning ok. The shower was working when we arrived but there was no water the next day. I dived with them. The dive... More

Capt'n Gregg's was the very first place I stayed in PG. I was lucky enough to get the bedroom at the top and enjoyed a superb beach view. The place is very noisy at night and close to the night life. The food is very simple tasting. I did not eat there much. Although I enjoyed the place and the... More

I always choose their room because its so comfortable and easy to access to all places. All bars and dive shops are around. So no need to face the hassle of having long way to ur room when u r drunk. Which u gonna be almost every night drunk. They have different option for budget and fancy travelers. Rooms have... More

My second time in this small dive resort and will continue to come back. Why look afar when this establishment has it all: excellent location (near to pier and most dive sites), cozy atmosphere, excellent service and good price.

Back again to 'Chucks place'. Top class professional diving again with Biggs, Madds, Ted & the rest. And, their restaurant serves food that is at least as good as can be found elsewhere in Sabang, at reasonable prices. Wifi is hit & miss, but you don't come here for that do you? Rooms perfectly adequate & bed comfy too. I... More

We were at captain Gregg's in april. A nice atmosphere, very close to the port, only 3 minutes walking and in Sabang. Very good for the off shore Bikini bar and stunning nightlife. I saw more white people in the hotel than Philipino people so it's a meeting point for travellers. The room was just ok, but not really great.... More

The place to be for diving in Sabang. World-class diving instructors will help you with everything from your first diving lesson to advanced tec diving. Regarding the accommodation the really friendly and helpful staff has to be mentioned, the rooms are generously big, the food is nice (little expensive though), lovely BBQ every night (which makes it a happening place... Stayed at Greggs once again for our annual dive trip. Didn't dive with them this year but the accommodation once again was excellent. Clean, tidy, huge rooms for 1. Excellent friendly staff and a place I will continue to use for many years. Excellent value for money and central enough for everything you need. 5*

I Found Capt'n Greggs on the internet. had excellent reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The location is convenient; close to the boarding dock and around the corner from the main part of town. Chuck always responded to my emails and gave us a good price on rooms (always book direct for best prices) A few weeks before we were to... More
