We knew about the place through TripAdvisor. Later we learned that they're more actively promoting it in AirBnB but we're still able to arrange for the weekend directly through their website. The response of Ms. Merlita, the Property Manager was prompt. We reserved and booked for Villa Kasbah Remo. We came in a group of ten and the rooms are...

I had stayed here last year. Very appreciated with our house that can accommodate all of our groups. "Ate" helped us a lot in finding the place for touring around Puerto Galera. Also we can learned the livelihood of nearby community there near our accommodation.

Stayed 2 nights with my whole family. From the moment we arrived until we left, we are all convinced that this was one of the best family resort accomodation we had. Exclusive, spacious living area and bedrooms with native accents and design, a decent size pool, wifi, full working kitchen with fantastic house cook/helper and a huge balcony over looking...

It was like love at first sight when we first saw Punta del Este. Enviable tranquility, private spaces, sophisticated luxury, elegance - we got everything we could ever asked for in a couple's getaway. Punta del Este is filled with character; a close connection with the natural surroundings; idyllic. In the villa, you got everything you may need; if you...

Home. Really. I'd choose this place than staying in a hotel. A place to definitely go back to. We stayed at Kasbah Remo which nestled on the edge of a small mountain. We had our own chill tambayan at the back where i personally enjoyed swinging in the hammock. Then a small coffee table on the side, a pool surrounded...

Stayed in the Villa Sarimanok. The Good: 1- Took the barge (RORO) from Batangas Port and it was pretty much hassle free.TIP: boats leave every hour but please don't choose BALENO. It's the slowest! the roads are winding but in excellent condition. From Calapan port it's about 40 minutes drive. 2- The rooms are big, good enough for a queen size bed...

We are very appreciative of your comments and we have no doubt about the positive contribution of your review to the success of our services . This further evidences the fact that bad review as published by a still unknown writer and nonetheless published by tripadvisor is a blessing in disguise because it does boost further the overall nice comments...

We (some friends and me) spend 3N/4D at the Punta Del Este and we enjoyed every minute of it! The place is just beautiful. The house is located right at the edge of a cliff with an amazing view over the bay. The house has 4 bedrooms each with an own bathroom. There is a big and nice kitchen as...

Staying in the Kasbah with friends and family is an experience that is just unforgettable. I was there with a small group of friends for 3 nights and we soaked up the sun, the ridiculous view and the good vibes. The house, with its comfortable rooms and easy breeze, has something about it that makes you relax the minute you...

Thank you so much for your kind words about your stay at our Sarimanok villa. I invite you to read the review that tripadvisor published and whose author is still to be identified ( we find no record of the visit in question ) . The concerned review talks of pets, mosquitos and other nuisances and we appreciate those comments...

We were a group of 6 and stayed in Kasbah (the big house with 4 rooms) for 3 nights. Even just arriving, was like coming home to your very own private paradise. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
More than a hotel, Punta del Este is an authentic getaway. It gives you the chance to live your retreat or your holiday in genuine privacy, enjoying relative seclusion and yet having the benefit of proximity to essential services. From the top of the beautiful green promontory, nearly all around it, you are able to catch the awesome sight of the broad ocean with its islands, indented coast and sandy coves, as well as the view of the nearby beach and, behind it, the lowland villages imbedded in wide coconut groves. From a distance you can also watch the small town’s life. In just five minutes you get there easily, looking for shops and services. In the background of this unique community, the skies offer incessant scenes of marine clouds gathering above the jungle and engulfing inscrutable mountains. Beyond the landscape reside the mysteries of the hinterland and its indigenous people. Better than a suite, your accommodation is a large villa. Absolutely exclusive, highly private, hidden from onlookers, even clothing optional, it becomes your home for the duration of the stay. Staff and cook are at your service, striving to provide what you need, that it’d be food, drinks, information, means of transport, access to activities and wellness services. More private than a restaurant, we operate in self-catering mode. After planning the meals with you, the cook goes shopping. You may even join her to the market (bringing your food is possible, no corkage fee). She prepares and serves the meals. If you love cooking, she is your assistant. Alternatively, at our smaller bungalow or studios, you will be cooking for yourself. Anyway our staff does the cleaning in the morning and remains attentive to your needs, providing information and assistance for transportation, activities and wellness. Accommodation: + Two exclusive villas, the equivalent of complete suites, each with its own private amenities: swimming pool, kitchen, dedicated cook and staff, terraces, garden with “kubo” gazebo, path to the nearby beach. One of the villas takes 8 guests in 4 bedrooms with private bathroom, the other takes 10 guests in 4 bedrooms and a mezzanine, each with private bathroom. Approximately two minutes down to the beach. + Two studios, in the immediate vicinity of either villa, each offering room for 2 to 3 guests on a large double bed, plus a sofa bed or a folding bed if requested. Private bathroom and complete kitchen. Private balcony with sea and mountain view in one of them. Two minutes down to the beach for one and three for the other. + One seclusive “bahay-sudio”, or small bungalow, nested on a platform of the cliff, half-way down to the beach. It’s a small native style house with room for 2 or 3 guests on a king-size bed and a folding bed if requested. Private bathroom and complete kitchen. Private balcony terrace. One minute down to the beach. We assist our guests in finding and organizing any activity or excursion that they would fancy and is available in the area. We can arrange your transfer from the airport to the villas. Free shuttle from/to the arrival/departure pier in Puerto Galera. ... more   less
