Do not dare to book a room in Garnet Hotel. The deluxe room i booked is apparently next to the reception at the ground floor, without window or proper ventilation. The room stinks and worst the water is really dirty. I could not stand to stay even a night so we moved out and gone through the hassle of finding...

Apart from it's central location there is nothing good to say about Hotel Garnet. On arrival there were 5 members of staff sitting in reception but none of them wanted to get up to check us in. They were too busy eating or doing each other's hair. It was clear we were an inconvenience to them. Our ground floor room...

I wouldn't have complained if the quality of this "hotel" matched its price but it didn't. It was very expensive for what it is. First, the orange color of the building is very tacky. It's in a very good location and it's such a waste because it is so badly designed. There's a balcony in every floor and a big...

If you're staying here make sure you request/pay more for the roof top rooms. They have x3 rooms with entrances on to a terrace that has AMAZING views. We stayed for 3 nights and the rooms weren't made up/cleaned at all. The bathroom was pretty horrible - water turned brown after a day and then water stopped completely. Staff were...

Very basic hotel. Wifi doesn't work in the room. Is clean enough. At first you probably think its pricey until you realize that El Nido itself is just crazy expensive in comparison to the rest of the Philippines. The location is awesome and the staff are sufficient. Honestly, if you're only sleeping in your hotel room this is more than...

The location is simply great. CENTRAL. But upon check in you would immediately notice the lack of training of the staff. The room was clean and decent. Same as the other reviews, the hotel seems to have a problem with their water. At 12mn, there was no water. They just said that their tank got emptied and will fill it...

Hotel location is very central. Hot water was solar powered and NON existent in our room. Linens and towels were poor quality. Water pressure was very bad. Our room had no window or natural light. There's a great view from the rooftop of El Nido- Beautiful! Hotel reception staff were for the most part ok at their job. I wouldn't...

The local dive center recommend it, in the middle of El nido, close to the dive center and 1 street to the beach. The hotel its simple and cheap, clean all that we want for that price, dont look for a fancy room for a couple holidays. The worst its the internet conexion, but in the area isnt good.. so......

For a hotel who mostly cater to backpackers, one would think this hotel would have a functioning wifi. I can get pass the fact that the wifi is ONLY available around the lobby but invest in a strong wifi network. We couldn't even check the status of our flight on the internet. Wifi at this hotel is unusable. This is...

After reading some questionable reviews we weren't sure what to expect from Hotel Garnet. We are on a backpackers budget and almost everything in El Nido was booked when we were going. Upon arrival at Hotel Garnet we were pleasantly surprised. My friend and I split the cost of a room and we were happy to find our room had...
