Last June 6, 2010, it was really a long and tiring journey from manila to puerto princesa BUT when we finally arrived at DANGKALAN Resort, it was replaced by the excellent services rendered by the WELL-TRAINED, RESPECTFUL, SENSIBLE, and HELPFUL staff of the said resort.. Sheryl, Ehra, Net, Louie, Ellen, Kim, and the rest. Your one-of-a-kind treatment to your guests...

Coming from Canada, I found Dangkalan resort on Tripdvisor in April 2010 in anticipation of my trip to Puerto Princessa, Palawan from June 3 to 6, 2010 mainly because it was a beach front resort and read the reviews at the time. I had read that the resort's general manager, Sheryl, was very attentive and accommodating - both were gross...

We chose this resort because it offered beachfront rooms, and it was one of the few which was not yet fully booked. As it turned out, it was only accessible through very rough roads and the beach front was not even well-maintained. The whole resort was pitch black at night, the restaurant closed at around 10pm, and breakfast was toast...

A very nice to stay. Wonderful staff, from Sheryl (the OIC), Kuya King (the resort driver), Neth (kitchen staff), and Louie (room attendant). A little bit far from the city, but no problem, Kuya King is always available to drive you to the city and back. Nice and clean swimming pool and rooms. You don't have to worry about arranging...

After researching all of the hotels and resorts in Puerto Princesa City I chose this one based on previous reviews and for the uniqueness of their Tree House suite. I emailed them off their web site and Sheryl was quick with a reply. We booked 2 nights in the Tree House and one night in a standard room. When we...

The service here at Dangkalan is great. Everything was arranged for us, the tours and even dinner reservations. They recommended the best restaurants so we were able to experience everything we need to experience in Puerto Princesa. The staff were very accommodating. We felt at home here. The standard room was clean and spacious even for 5 persons. It has...
