I went to bungalow 13 and 6 and the pillows were humid and dirty with mold and mildew.Very disgusting place! I only stay 1 night and it was a terrible room with a broken shower. In the morning I see a tourist eating a pancake and she left half of it. I should think it was not good. But I...

This is a 5 minute walk from beautiful stretch of beach, and the underground river. However, the immediate surrounds are not nice- its up a rocky and quite dirty path. The cottages are in pretty landscaped land, with beautiful sea views. However, the rooms themselves are dirty, very uncomfortable and the staff are not helpful. when we arrived, it took...

Cheap option (600p/night) with both the good and the bad of nature. The view is awesome - ocean view over a nice garden. The sun sets early in sabang because of the mountains which makes it nice and shady in the afternoon. But the cottages need some maintenance. One of our chairs was not useable as the seat was broken...

I got the name of this place out of a 2012 Lonely Planet that called the Nipa Huts here "charmingly dilapidated". Ya, if you consider a huge rat charming. I understand that is part of staying in huts in a rural town. We paid $10/night (an 'insider deal' for this particular cabin, in hindsight I'm sure due to the Rat...

After going to bed on our first night at the Blue Bamboo, we could hear a scurrying sound coming from the gap between the wall and the roof. We turned on the light to see rat in that space. It continued to run along top of the wall for about half an hour. As we had no food in the...

+ = close to the tourist office, nice staff, rather cheap price (bargain) and Wi-Fi. - = the backpack room is a mattress on the floor, a mosquito net and a light. The light in the bathroom was not working. Heaps a red ants walked over my mattress, with the result I had a lot of bites.

Basic cottages with a very lovely view. Our cottage was very clean and it had a veranda with a couch and a table. A pretty romantic setting in the evening sun. Sabang is worth an overnight visit, to relax and enjoy nature. On the road to the nearby temple we spotted sea turtles feeding in the waves. The owner didn't...

I was little bit worried when i saw reviews on trip advisor but i have to say i really enjoyed my stay in Blue Bamboo. I stayed there for three nights, i got nice small cottage with sea view located in nice garden. Owners were very nice and helpful in everything i needed. There's electricity only from 6pm to 10pm...

Stayed here in early 2013, we obviously went to Sabang to go to the underground river tour. We found that the owners wife was really pushy about her sorting out our boat transfer and ticket entry. This is obviously not allowed in Sabang as Fixers are illegal. The lady tried to take our passports and when we refused she followed...

This Resort is a good value for the price. Very simple cottages (thin mattress, no toilet flush). Electricity is availble usually from 6pm with a power generator. From the veranda there is a nice view to the ocean. The restaurant is good. Negativ: The manager (German) is not very reliable. I have booked a cottage about 1 month before our...
