Wanted to go off the grid for a bit so i decided to move to Fairways. I requested if I could be given a room where I could really breathe fresh air but due to the limited rooms available for occupancy, i was provided an upgrade instead (though still not with a view). The following morning, the staff actually moved me to a new room with pool access. Really happy that they were able to follow through. The whole place is a paradise and you'll never have a hard time looking for a spot you can have to your self. Breakfast has limited selection but totally understandable given the circumstances. We were provided a generous amount of fruits and we totally loved it. Hotel is well-sanitized with phones and utensils put in cling wraps the moment they're cleaned.

Had dinner at Agusta and was provided a good mix of tanqueray and tonic by Derek, and finished a whole pizza margherita prapared by chef Jhen. I was alone at that moment and Rey kept me company the whole time talking about the life in the island and how everyone is coping. Really great to hear about how the island is trying to get back on its feet. He eventually gave me time to finish my food but was really entertained with his stories.

Despite many rooms being unoccupied, there's still a ton of things you can do inside and if you really value privacy while at the same time being pampared by a set of staff who will make you feel like family, there's no better place to be at.

Me and my friend went to Boracay last January. It was my first in the island and I was excited for this trip. A day before our arrival, they sent me a message reminding me of the requirements and health protocols we have to follow upon arriving at the island. We were welcomed by a cold juice drink, and our luggages were disinfected and delivered to our room after an hour. May and Jeremy assisted us very well. Since it was our first time to stay in Fairways and Bluewater Boracay, May upgraded our room from superior to premier grand with direct access to the pool! The room was very accessible from the resort lobby. It was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. We had plated meal for breakfast at Laguna Cafe. The food was good and the view from the cafe was pretty nice. The staff at Laguna Cafe were very friendly as well. We were also assisted by Rey when we had dinner at Augusta de Cucina.There is a 24/7 shuttle service within the resort. You can just ask from front desk officers if you need a ride going to the private beach or to the main gate if you are planning to go outside the premises. The resort is one ride away from the Station 1/2/3 (about 3-5minutes). Overall, our stay here for 4 days and 3 nights were excellent. Every penny was worth it. All the staff were friendly, accommodating and well-trained. They really made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The facilities were in excellent condition and well maintained. They really made our vacation perfect. I am planning to come back with my parents, hopefully within the year. :)

For almost 2 years since the lockdown happened, Boracay seems to be slowly transitioning to an open place to enjoy beach & nature, without the fear of Covid at all. The best thing is that - here in Fairways & Bluewaters Boracay, despite the skeletal workforce, everyone makes our stay one that is with care & compassion. I’d like to commend Cessa at the FO for personally bringing us to our rooms upon check in as there is a limited workforce to do such. She made sure that despite our frustration of not having our desired room accommodation, we’re compensated by the kind of personalized service she extended. Also, the entire housekeeping team - Arthur, Elvie, Norman & Joedy, who despite of the unavailability of the lift due to the power outage damage, made sure to deliver our room requests using the staircase. And of course, the dining staff at the pool area, Rey and Jen. As well as Johnny & the other amiable guy in Laguna Café (where breakfast is being served) who are all so personalized in attending to our needs. I am inspired by the way Rey has seen the skeletal workforce as an opportunity to learn as he was able to explore the other divisions he’s assigned to due to the multitasking & cross-JDs while the hotel is operating below property capacity. Instead of murmuring for an added task, he embraced the learning experience to add value to his career in the hospitality industry. Though quite inconvenient for the guests, I also salute how the staff at the property gates execute the QR protocols every time we go out of the property. And when we suggested a shorter way of doing such to May at the FO, the following day, it was adopted; hence, the improvement in the queue. Generally, the workforce is seen to have a polite and courteous culture that can be felt around. Praying that the pandemic be ended soon so as for the other buildings and amenities to be operational in here. Looking forward to our next family bonding here.

Stayed here 7 nights. The resort is badly damaged by the December typhoon. A lot of the buildings are damaged and shut down. Some Trees and plants are uprooted. Some Pools, restaurants and activities are not available due to the damage. There are no zip line or cable cars as advertised. The main infinity pool is closed along with its bar and restaurant and La Terraza closes at 6PM with no entertainment. Also the shuttle to Dmall is advertised as going every 30 minutes but now only operates 5 times a day. What makes this disappointing is that the hotel will not tell you any of this before you book or even when you check in. You have to find out for yourself. We used their shuttle service to get around the resort the first 2 nights and vowed to walk everywhere after that due to the 15-20 minutes wait time. It was frustrating to see empty shuttles drive past you when the resort is a big circle and they can only go one way or the other. They should just make continuous loops like Jeepneys. I even saw an elderly woman standing with a walker wait 25 minutes at the main gate as shuttles kept passing by. You think this would have been a priority. Employee shuttles run more often than guest shuttles. We had problems with our two bedroom suite also. One of the kettles did not work and the other one smelled as if someone cooked kimchi in it. The microwave also had to be replaced but both times housekeeping was prompt with replacements. You are only given 2 bath towels even tho a sign on the bathroom mirror has replacement costs of bath towels, hand towels and face towels.

I know this sounds like a lot of negativity but this could be rectified by the hotel making you aware of the circumstances before you arrive or atleast at check in. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice resort. It just doesn’t seem as any work is being done to rehab the resort.

The good part is the staff. They are all very friendly, outgoing and welcoming. All the food we ate was also amazing. These things are what made our vacation enjoyable.

We take all reviews seriously and your feedback is important to us as they help us identify shortfalls and improve our offerings. Be assured that we constantly work on improving our services and amenities for the satisfaction of our guests. The resort did sustain quite some damage during the December typhoon, however we have been working double time to repair all affected facilities within the resort. You may be interested to know that the resort is almost fully restored. All of our six swimming pools are now operational. Rooms and buildings damaged are also revamped and operational. Whilst a few of our restaurants close early, we have bars and restaurants that operate until well past midnight- with nightly entertainment as well. Know that we are reviewing our shuttle schedules , as well as housekeeping processes because of your feedback, all concerned department will be looped-in for positive action. Communication materials are also being reviewed to ensure all information shared with guests are accurate. Despite the shortfall you have encountered, we are happy that you still had an enjoyable experience at Fairways and Bluewater. We are pleased that you appreciated our culinary offerings as well as the friendly attentive service of our hardworking staff. Pros: John Rey our waiter at Laguna cafe. Gave us tips directions and most important, bacon!!
Breakfast buffet large.
Kind staff.
Clean room daily
Nice beach area if not windy, many pools.

Cons: it's a large resort you have to wait for busses to get you around gets a bit annoying after few days. Laundry service expensive
Food flavor so so and pricey food and drink. Power went off in room frequently so then safety light comes on during night buzzing, twice.
No ice to have in room.

This has truly been the best customer service we have experienced. Everyone in the hotel specially Housekeeping and f&b service are exceptional. For a hotel so huge, Housekeeping team has very good attention for detail, our room was magically cleaned everytime we stepped out (without having to ask). We got fantastic service at breakfast, even though the restaurant is always busy. everyone is so polite and prompt.It was delightful to stay at Fairways!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! All staff were very kind and hospitable to our requests. We booked 3x rooms which were all nice and well maintained thanks to their friendly housekeepers who always left nice surprises in my parent’s room.
Resort is huge! But does not make anything inconvenient thanks to the 24hr shuttle available and the city mall 1min walk from main gate. Also if you don’t make the shuttle service down to D’Mall, taxis are always sitting at the main gate ready to assist.
Ku De Ta District (within the resort) is great to relax and enjoy some afternoon cocktails or just laze around the one of many pools looking over the ocean this resort offers.
Only down was that the cable and skyline activities are not yet available but we could deal without anyways :)

Great stay at this resort again. Considering the massive closures around the island due to the pandemic, I’d say staying in this resort is both perfect if you want to chill away from the crowds. Most of their amenities are not available though during our stay (only one pool with a pool bar open), and lobby was moved from main veranda to (I think) a newer building. I guess they timed their repairs while tourism isn’t booming due to the lockdowns. The private beach is still open though, so that’s great :)

The staff also sanitized everything upon our arrival and made sure our stay was first and foremost safe, as well as enjoyable still. Wifi was also reliable, so working from there was also made possible. There’s also a City Mall near the resort’s gate for all your random needs. Shout out to the barista and waiters (of the only pool opened during our stay) who recommended great drinks and whom we had great conversations with. :)

Overall a five-star reprieve from all the chaos outside the island. I wish they had more shuttles available going back to Station 1 or 2, though. But a great stay; I wish we had extended! Looking forward to the next!

People are always smiling, it’s clean and well organized. You need to know that this is a golf resort. Therefore it’s a huge resort and you need the shuttle busses a lot. But we are lucky and need to wait no longer than 10 minutes to get a shuttle to go outside the resort or to “travel” within the resort. Sadly the main pool is not open due to the Typhoon too few visitors right now. The breakfast is a huge buffet with a lot of different type of food from National to international. John Rey was our main contact person and is always smiling and helpful. He tries his very best but all people are very friendly and ask if they can assist.

The resort has its own white beach and a rooftop whirlpool. Also with multiple infinity pools. One star less because traveling outside of the resort is organized with a shuttle only on specific times and going back you must be lucky to get a seat inside the bus.
We are not going to do scuba diving here. The price for one dive is ~3000PHP. Even a special offer of 1400PHP is more expensive than on other islands. The main white beach is beautiful and huge. It takes round about 15 minutes to get there from the resort. But it’s totally worth it.

Personally I like the gym. It has all you need for a small workout. Especially the wood way is always good because it’s for cardio without using electricity. And I’ve seen hotel gyms already which just have a treadmill and two 5kg dumbbells... so compared to this, it’s amazing :)

Dear René P , Greetings from fairways and Bluewater. Thank you very much for your review. We are happy to note that you enjoyed your stay with us. Happy that the breakfast offerings, facilities and amenities were to your liking. Glad as well that you were able to fully utilize of shuttles in exploring our vast property. Likewise we are pleased that you found our newly renovated and fully equipped gym amazing. Kindly allow me to explain the reason for rate difference of our scuba diving activity from those offered by agents at the from beach. Scuba diving activities ( or any other water sports activities for that matter) booked through our Adventure Center comes will full assistance and VIP butler service. They will be assisted and accompanied by our butler from the moment they are picked up ( by an air-conditioned van) at the resort until they are safely and comfortably dropped off again. I hope this helps clarify the difference in price and offering. We hope you visit u again so we may provide you with a perfect Fairways experience. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Very delicious breakfast everyday in the morning , chef Jen, chef Jerwin, Anorl, Kenj,Ralph. Very clean, and available fruit before and after breakfast, can enjoy breakfast in sunshine . And this hotel provides face masks and alcohol, very toothpaste and brush .

Are ther any bars or restaurants in walking distance?

The premium room have a best view and from there you can access most of amenities like poor, resto poor and the main restaurent where you take breakfast. But if you want to go to Kudeta restaurent you will have to take a shuttle which is free and provided by resort

Hi, the rooms are dotted all over the resort. Even if you stay closer to the beach, you will still need to take a Jeppney as there are no rooms that are very close to the beach. The best rooms to stay would be the ones closest to reception because you will be close to the pools and restaurant. And catching a Jeopney from outside reception is a doddle. You will never wait long and you will always get a seat as reception is the main starting point. I hope this somewhat helps.

"Location is a bit far from Stations 1-3, so prepare yourself from the commute and commute fee. Some trikes here offer over pricing fee"
