We stayed in Savoy for 3 nights during our trip. We were very impressed with the amenities - 2 large pools that aren’t overly crowded at anytime was a highlight. The inclusive breakfast was also delicious, although it could use more variety and include more breakfast staples such as bacon, sausages and waffles. Be aware also that there aren’t any other places to eat nearby other than the hotel cafe which is a bit pricey.

The location is Boracay Newcoast, a relatively new development in Boracay about 20 mins from White Beach. The shuttles to get to the beach are first come first serve though they add extra vehicles if there are a lot of people going. However, the shuttles going back to the hotel from D’Mall are extremely full especially in the evening, so tricycles are a better option if you can afford it. Finally, the hotel is close to Puka Beach which is a great beach to swim, walk and relax away from the crowds.

Service was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating. Our room was cleaned everyday and they assisted us in all of our needs.

Overall, a great option for people visiting Boracay but want to get away from the crowds at White Beach.

> Breakfast Buffet - food quality is very good! They serve oven baked Bacon upon request. Kudos to Banana Bread, Bread Pudding, Almond Bar, Pandesal and Pecan Pie

> Savoy Cafe & Pool Bar Crew - Kudos to Angelo & Ms. Marilou for warm service and they care for the food quality you eat. We love Pansit and Chicken Tenders & Garlic Rice. Sriracha Chicken wings needs more spicy kick on it

> Room - MUR excellent. Trustworthy staff even you leave your gadgets on your bed or side table.

> Transportation service staff are courteous and systematic. Compliant with their posted schedule on their leaflet

> Front Office Staff greeted us with warm smile and happy eyes

> Spacious Lobby

> Rest Rooms are clean, with adequate tissue roll and most especially working bidet.

Will definitely go back with my family and is excited for the opening of Vienne Outlet at the Lobby.

Don't be fooled by the nice pictures just as we were. The hotel is not beach front but is located in the middle of nowhere. It is a hassle having to wait for the shuttle service or take a tricycle just to get a bite to eat. Savoy is fairly new but it is far from a 4 star resort as advertized. It feels more like a mid to low end condo which suits bargain travelers.

I have stayed in countless hotels worldwide and not once has housekeeping ever woken me up at 9am just to clean our room - and this is after staying up very late while (hanging out at Station 1) so we wanted to sleep in. Yet even after ignoring the knocks, the lady wouldn't give up until we opened the door to turn her away.

The weather was perfectly hot and sunny during our stay so there is no excuse for the swimming pool to be freezing cold. If you have kids, please do them a favor and stay on the main coast (Station 1 or 2). If you are on a honeymoon or celebrating an anniversary, please do your wife a favor and find other options.

Lastly, it seems like all the 5 star reviews are from brand new accounts... hmm...

Dear sfcraiger, Let us begin by thanking you for your review and sharing your experience with us at Savoy Hotel Boracay. You have allowed us the opportunity to look into the above situation and provide you, as well as others on this platform, the feedback necessary to understand the full scope of the situation. Your sentiment concerning the "disturbance" that our room attendant has caused you when she knocked on your door early in the morning is totally understandable. However, we believe that it could've been totally avoided should you have just pressed the Do Not Disturb button in your room the night before. We are also aware that Savoy Hotel Boracay is not for everyone's taste but based on the comments from our departed guests, they mostly loved and enjoyed the daily activities that we offer in the hotel as well as the tranquility and privacy of the Newcoast Beach which is just a few minutes away. Moving forward, we would like to let you know that your opinion is greatly appreciated and we sincerely value the feedback that you've provided. Thank you again for your candor and please accept our sincerest apologies that we failed to live up to your expectations.

Very disappointed with everything about this Hotel.
Both the restaurant and the snack bar have the same menu and these are the only places to eat within miles. Nothing within walking distance. You have to take a shuttle bus to the beach, which is not even a nice one compared to others on the island. If you want a sea view it also comes with a construction view!
However the worst thing about this hotel is the rooms. Very dated and very basic and small. If you are large you will struggle to fit in the bathroom as you have to shut the door before you can open the shower screen!! It felt like a proper rip off because they mentioned several times had we booked directly on the website they could have changed our room and picked us up at the airport. We booked through a travel agency so could only be allocated certain rooms and had no pick up included. No room change could be offered unless we wanted to pay an upgrade of 50 dollars per person per day per room. I guess that is how they get more money out of you if you even want to stay in this place.
We checked out into a proper 4 star hotel for the same price right on the beach just down the road that had several places you could walk to, with amazing accommodation and views. We are still waiting for a refund from this hotel.

Dear Helen S, We would like to thank you for staying at Savoy Hotel Boracay! However, it is with regret that there had been some lapses in terms of our communication and services with the room set-up, amenities, and the unavailability of a room change. Your joyous occasion was marred with these incidents and we sincerely apologize. Your comments are valuable to us and we will do the necessary action so as not to have this repeated again to any of our future guests. It is our hope to have another opportunity to be of better service to you should your travels bring you back to Boracay Island.

Savoy made our stay in Boracay very worth while, awesome, and peaceful.

When we arrived (Sunday) it was kinda eerie though, almost no lights and people around. As if like alone and peaceful was too much, but later on people started coming back from the white beach and have a night swim.

Location wise, the hotel is far from the White beach but they provide shuttles going to and from there. It's not beachfront, they have a private beach (awesome one) you can reach within 10mins walk, or via shuttle they provide. *Maybe this is my inner introvert self, but it's kinda great that the location of the place is not in the main White beach, it kinda adds to relaxing feeling that it's away from the tourist crowd.

Our rooms were located not facing the pool, but facing the front of the hotel, regardless though it was spacious for the 2 of us. Room facilities are good to. The rate if you will compare is a little pricey but I think it's worth the experience and the service they provide.

Breakfast buffet was really good, and since we're leaving early for our flight - they gave us options for a packed breakfast.

Their Spa is great, we did first night and last night and it was really relaxing. They actually have different extra activities you can do around the place everyday both for kids and adults (for free). Usually they have movie night in the pool, and you can bike around too.

Basically, they live up to the standards they are expected to have. If we have request or inquiry they do their best to accommodate it. Will definitely comeback if given the chance again.

The images on the internet sell a fake dream. The hotel is not by the sea as it seems, it does have a private pool, but it's a 7-12 minutes walk (they say 5), but it's downhill and uphill, so if you have the elderly with you, you can't walk from the beach to the hotel.

Let me start by saying that I had to move rooms three times.
So first of all, arriving in a hotel room covered in dust is unacceptable. I thought I was too picky about cleaning, but my friend had to clean the dust herself.

The second day my key didn't work so I was locked outside, they called an engineer and left me there "looking after my things" while the engineer worked.

Yes, I had to stay there fixing THEIR problem. The next day, the same problem with the door, followed by leakage from the ceiling.
So 3 rooms in 3 days

That being said... let me give you a snapshot here of my other considerations:

The DJ has no self-awareness and plays terrible and very loud music starting at 9 am even when only one person is by the pool. Terrible taste, the opposite of relaxing. (ps. I love music and beach clubs)
Food... not good at all.
Friendly and polite staff, but they need training urgently.

They have shuttles for that, but it's not very efficient.

Paddleboarding and sea-through kayaking on the beach are fun activities.

The foam in the pool is disgusting and has a "teenager" vibe, so I would NOT recommend this place to any adult looking for a peaceful and relaxing time in Boracay!

Food is slightly expensive, but worth the price.

All the staff are soooo accommodating,❤️ they make you feel so at home and important, at the same time.

Place has a 5 star vibes; the rooms, the pool, the cafe, and even just the lobby😍

They even have FREE activities for adults like movie night on a Tuesday eve, and beach tour on a Wednesday morning. Then everyday at 4 in the afternoon during weekdays "ata", they offer FREE activities to the kids, as well, like pizza making, puzzles, and so on.

We will be coming back for sure❤️😍🤗

Savoy Hotel Boracay New Coast is 30 minutes away from the iconic Boracay White beach which is filled with tourists. It has its own Cove type beach which is a 10 minutes walk from the hotel. But getting back to the hotel from the beach takes a lot of effort since you either walk on an inclined plane or use the stairs. You can also ask the security guard at the beach to call for a transpo, though it takes time since they don't have a dedicated shuttle to the beach. There are parts of the beach that kinda rocky but there are also parts that have soft powdery sand. I suggest to bring your beach shoes for comfort and safety. There are free kayak and paddle boards at the beach area which you can use for 15 mins. You just need to sign a form. There are also crystal kayak if you want to have your picture taken but it has a fee of 300 pesos. There are lots of lounge chairs at the beach which you can use and they have a shower area. The restrooms at the beach area have a fee of 40 pesos per use. The cove is also near the Keyhole but you need to have a transpo arranged to visit it. They have 2 big pools and 2 smaller hot pools. The life guards at the pools are very attentive specially Benjie. You can borrow the pool towels to bring to the beach or when you go on island hopping. The rooms are not that big but are cozy, clean, and comfortable. There are lots of water dispenser strategically placed in the corridors. I love the towel arrangements done by our room attendants Almer and John. Their breakfast buffet have limited choices. They also don't have much seafood choices at the Savoy Cafe. But the hotel allows delivery from the nearby stalls at the beach area. You just need to get their contact numbers since the hotel doesn't have them. We have tried the "Sugba" . They have a lot of food choices that are affordable and their servings are enough. There is a scheduled free shuttle to the Jollibee D'mall and vice versa but you need to book your trip in advance. They have as early as 6am to as late as 10 pm. Overall, we love our stay in #SavoyHotelBoracay. We will definitely come back! Highly recommended.

This resort is located in their latest development area called station zero and it is an area dedicated to 5 stars properties despite its far from the main road you can use their shuttle service.
The room featured modern furnishings, not too small and not too big it's perfect for a solo traveler like myself, I like the welcome letter complete with chocolate served in a box and an elephant made from a towel, it was lovely.
Unfortunately, my shower was not in perfect condition - called engineering and they fixed it. When my room service order arrived ( i ordered some kind of salmon dish and a bottle of beer ) the guy didn't bring the cutleries and the bottle opener, so the guy need to go back and forth to bring them and I was already starving. The daily housekeeping service was on a request basis, I only knew on the 3rd day and they finally cleaned my room and leave some notes (saying that the cleaner was happy to clean the room, etc.) in some towel art.

All the F&B during the breakfast was delicious and have a complete variety. This resort also has a fitness center although some of the equipment is not very well maintained (the multi-function equipment in the back and the pull-up bar) I am still able to do my gym routine.
This resort was attached to the seven eleven which is great, within walking distance to the beach and to the famous tourist attraction called Cujo's keyhole.

Free breakfast buffet is included in your accommodation at Savoy Hotel. There are also food stalls in the beach area and coffee shops, a barand convenience store in the ground floor of the hotel. Other bars and restaurants are located far from Savoy, except Belmont, its sister hotel. If you want to explore other bars and restaurants, you may take the hotel's free shuttle bus on scheduled trips to Jollibèe, the famous Filipino food chain; or take the hop-on, hop-off public buses that pass the hotel every 15-20 minutes and bring its passengers to designated bus stops around Boracay island.
