I've been to Boracay many times, but the Astoria is one the best places that I've stayed in. The hotel is located at the beachfront. so all you need is to step out of your room and the white sand beach of Boracay is upon you. Their swimming is something the kids love, the slide and the poolside chairs make...

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. The construction was kind of annoying as it was happening in the room right above us when we stayed here. Breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious! Pictures make the pool look a lot bigger than it seems but it was still enjoyable and water was clean!

Service was excellent, the people from the front desk was very helpful and you'd feel the sincerity of the service that they provide you. I recall 2 or 3 of their pillows smelled so bad and there were small black stains or spots that really smelled so bad. Their room had ants and mosquitoes (perhaps brought by the renovation or repairs in some rooms nearby). I could say that some of their staff really need more 'interpersonal' training. Hubby and I also stayed at...

When checking in my husband and I were upgraded to a luxury room. I am not sure why but I feel that it's because part of the hotel was being renovated.
