It's a sister hostel to Frendz resort. The rooms in Casamso had air conditioner, which was the better part compared to dorms at frendz. The check-in has to be done at the reception at frendz. The shower had no lock from the inside and the toilet room was awkwardly built and small. The happy hour and twice a week pasta... More

Location There are 2 sides of the equation. Casamso/Frendz Resort is nearer to the main road. So, if you need something like quick food, bank, McDonalds, D'Mall, water or any other stuff. This place is great. However, if you're a beach junkie, this is a different story. Quite far from the beach front. About 3-5 minutes walk. Takes longer if... More

The room is always clean though I hate the idea that the room key has an adaptor to the aircondition. So u have to plug it first before making your room cool. The staff are "gay" friendly and accomodating. The ceiling is low, and the toilet is a bit odd when it comes to space, water and heater. But if... More

Casamso is part of Frendz resort so we had to check in at Frendz. They offered us our welcome drinks (soda, juice or beer). The people are so friendly and we felt very welcome. When we got to the room, it was spacious and the bathroom was ok. The a/c was also cold. Since Casamso is part of Frendz, we... More

As someone before me pointed out, this hostel isn't for everyone. This is a decent no frills, budget/backpackers place. Cons: It was a little difficult to find this place the first few times. It is located down the same street as "Club Ten" so look out for the sign which unfortunately is also slightly difficult to spot. The dirt path... More

We stayed in a quad room and had booked a fan room originally but found that upon arriving we had been upgraded to air-con which was very welcome as it was super hot on the island. We payed 500php per person per night, which isn't cheap but the best price you can get for a room in the location (between... More

Stayed there for 3 nights with my other 3 friends. It was really a place to put up for the night. No frills budget hostel. They had the basics, a clean bed and an air conditioning system, but it could get quite stuffy at times. However, the room was filled with mosquitoes, which was probably the only other downside. Other... More

We were greeted with warm smiles, a welcome drink and a quick fuss-free check in by the staff. It is only a minute's walk to the beach, f&b outlets and shops which was great! We stayed in a Family Room that was huge and clean but the toilet is really tiny and filled with mosquitoes. The room is air conditioned... More

The place is affordable and has the basic necessities that you need for a great vacation. Just a few walks to the beach, the bar/resto area has a billiard table, a PC for everyone to use and the wifi is also fast. Welcome drinks are given when we arrived. The venue has a great, relaxing, laidback atmosphere, nothing fancy or... More
