Have been to many luxury hotels like this one but it is one of the best in the world for a reason. Their staff, their attention to detail is outstanding. Every small thing which you want in your room was taken care of. 24/7 available and really cooperative staff adds to the experience. Do try their spa as well. Had one of the best treatments there.

My wife and I had an excellent stay for her birthday. In particular, the Chinese restaurant was outstanding and we’d highly recommended it (food, service, setting, everything).

It feels like there is a keen attention to detail at the Capella, such as no silly card slot to keep the power and AC on in the room. No silly internet password or getting continuous kicked off. Balloons and flowers for my wife’s birthday. Lovely little touches around the room and property all added up to making the stay more relaxing and enjoyable.

The room was comfy and well equipped, the surroundings were lovely, the staff were friendly, attentive & accommodating to requests. Even the bar staff went the extra mile to make us comfortable, as well as making super yummy cocktails.

The hot tub in the Constellation room
Is a real highlight and we loved it.

Definitely not the cheapest hotel in Singapore but you can see where the money is spend and you never feel short changed.

Massive thumbs up from us.

We planned on celebrating on 5th anniversary at Capella this year and this was one of the best choices we could have made. The staff is super friendly and have gone out of their way all through our stay to make we felt like royalty . If we are trying to get a picture, they come and ask if we need one together. The lady who made our room made sure to leave an ice bucket at the room when she saw a champagne bottle lying around. The knolls staff couldn’t have been nicer. Mr. Vignesh offered us champagne and made sure to arrange even inroom dining options at the restaurant as we are vegetarians and our options were limited otherwise. Ms Swen made sure to co-ordinated with the chef and arranged different vegetarian options for us to dine through our stay . She even kept the best tables ready for us based on our previous preferences for every meal. She wanted to make sure our 5th anniversary was perfect. The staff near the pool wouldn’t let you even pick a towel. They were extremely accommodative. Loved the hospitality throughout our stay. The property is beautiful and we are glad to have picked Capella for our staycation.

Celebrated my birthday at Capella with a one night stay in a Garden Villa. The room was spacious, separate living and bedroom area with a beautiful outdoor shower and jacuzzi. There’s also a nice patio with a plunge pool for you to relax and unwind.
We were allowed to order In Room Dining for breakfast which was great as we didn’t have to wake up and prepare ourselves to go to the restaurant.
The 3 tier pool was gorgeous. There’s even a separate pool for just laps. A walk along the beach to witness sunset is another way to unwind. Hourly shuttles to VivoCity also allows your to quickly escape to get a meal if you do not wish to eat in the hotel.
Overall, staff were all warm and friendly. Nice, thoughtful setup of balloons and cake.
Fun rides on a buggy to ferry your from your villa to the main lobby. It’s a true paradise.
Special thanks to the staff in Living Room, in particular, Adel who was warm and friendly. Afternoon tea in the Living Room was also very tastefully done. Thank you also to Wayne by the poolside who was a great personality to interact with.
I’d definitely be back.

My boyfriend booked 2 nights at the capella resort for my birthday. The hotel is gorgeous, especially the pools and the quiet setting immersed in greenery. There's plenty of activities for in-house guests to do. So we did not step out for a single minute.
We stayed at a regular room the first night and then moved to a garden villa. Both rooms were really spacious. I especially enjoyed the view on the regular room on the top floor and the privacy in the villa with outdoor shower, plunge pool and bathtub was amazing.
However, we were quite disappointed by the service, especially given the reputation of this property. But first I also do want to give credit to the pool staff and f&b (we tried all the restaurants including the in room dining) really attentive and warm. The disappointment was more about the reception and reservation team. They often forget things or even not arrange what my boyfriend has previously communicated with them prior our check in. Several chaser calls has to be made before our request would be fulfilled. My bouquet of flowers was lost and had to wait upon leaving the property to trace it back. When during check out this was highlighted. Our grab almost cancelled on us if we didn't added surcharge.
Also during check out the receptionist didn't care much how we enjoyed our stay at all.
For the price they charge I really think service can be greatly improved. Especially thinking they had all the lockdown time to improve staff trainings.
Food wise I really enjoyed the pool menu as well as the dinner at Knolls, the cod and boef bourguignon were delicious, selection of wines also really curated. The disappointment was on the breakfast, very limited choices and not so fresh. My dim sum were super dry and tasted as the ones from the supermarket. Noodles were also quite average. At least I liked the fact that it was a la carte in small portions so there was not so much waste involved. If you spend your special occasion there they also don't really care much there was a sad 3 balloons in my room no welcome card and a really tasteless cheesecake as birthday wish. Again it's fine if you charge 300/400 SGD per night but when you charge 800/1300 SGD my expectations also will be equally expensive.
All in all capella is definitely a great staycation experience if you look for a total privacy and quietness but definitely the service is not there yet.

Had a 2 nights staycation with my family. Requested for children amenities before stay but was not prepared. Nonetheless matters were rectified quickly, however there’s no children toiletries except for toothbrush. But the the toothpaste is for adults, not suitable for a 3 year old. Luckily I brought my own. There’s turn down service on the first night. Refill of water and given 1 eye masks. As read in previous reviews, it will be nice if Capella could take into consideration how many guest were staying and provide the number. Masks were given but none for kids. Would be nice if they could also provide plastic cups in rooms which were used in restaurants. Complimentary minibar with bottled water and soft drinks. Turn down service not available at second night. Only offered bottles of water. Pools were great, floats available at children pool. No pre booking required. Breakfast was nice with ala carte. Cost of breakfast for child was $25++. 4 years old below was free. Knolls service not attentive enough for dinner and breakfast. Had to remind them of forgotten orders and to repeat my requests for children’s cutlery. Location of hotel is nice, however staff is lacking information Sentosa transportation. We wanted to go car free and asked directions to get to Beach station. We were told either to walk to Impiah monorail station or wait for hotel shuttle to RWS. We decided to walk as we wanted to head to Beach station and not RWS. We then realise there’s Sentosa buses along the main road where we could catch a bus to Beach Station for free. The other quicker way is to walk the pathway down from the children pool (Stairs involved) to Palawan beach and it’s just 2 stops to Beach station on the Beach tram. We wasn’t told of the pathway to Palawan beach as well. Such information should be shared even though we aren’t tourists. Capella is a pet friendly hotel and we saw guests bringing dogs and cats. We were also given complimentary parking coupons but limited to 4 pieces which is more than sufficient. Beds were too soft and springs were worn out.

We had a one night staycation at Capella to celebrate our son's 1st birthday. Upon our arrival at the hotel lobby, my son was greeted with a peacock soft toy. He loved it so much and carried it with him all day long. The parents were given lovely welcome drinks.

The room was decorated with several balloons and a lovely cake was also provided. They even provide a high quality baby cot with some baby amenities in it. I like the fact that they also provide towel cover on the common stool at the sink area as well as the outdoor sofa. Overall, the room is really clean and huge.

Service at the Knolls is also impeccable. During our dinner that night, a server was playing with our son and casually asked us how old he is. Upon knowing that he turned one today, he brought him a cheesecake and sang him a birthday song. Upon seeing the lighted candle on the cake, our son was so happy and that really made our day.

Here are some areas for improvement:
1. Tap knobs (both hot and cold) are very tight, not easy to open and close
2. Water spatter on the floor of the shower area easily, making it quite dangerous to walk around. Maybe an additional shower curtain will be better?
3. A baby sitting service so that the parents can enjoy a spa session?

I love the fact that this hotel is very baby friendly. It is our first family staycation and thank you for making it stressed free for us. We simply love the tranquility of this place and will definitely come back real soon.

Holding our wedding celebratory banquet at Capella was probably the best decision we ever made.

We are very grateful to our wedding planner, Jamie Cher, for her assistance and organisation of our wedding celebration in Capella. It was an ease to communicate with her. She was very responsive to us and needless to say, a ton of patience. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, it was really stressful for us but Jamie was very accommodating to all our requests. From numerous text messages from the nervous bride to early check in, to packing away leftover food, to requesting for flower girl's basket, to air sanitizing the whole ballroom , to getting masks for some of our guest and many more requests (on hindsight, some were rather ridiculous), Jamie made the impossible, possible for us!!

Among many strength of Capella Singapore, Capella has the most excellent banquet team! Wayne and Cherlyn were the most responsive and attentive banquet ICs. Our guests not only sang praises for the delicious food, the ambiance but in particular, the immaculate table service and F&B experience. The rum bar was probably one of our best decisions as Capella makes the best cocktail and rum based drinks...

Special thanks to Dora for the decorations. It was on point, exactly what we had in mind and thank you again for the utmost effort to source for the flowers we love despite the situation.

Not forgetting Capella's ground staff for taking care of the logistic and looking after us throughout our stay !! Breakfast was a sumptuous spread of international and local cuisine. Occasional visits from Capella's mascot (Mr. Peacock) during our aperitif at Bob's bar was original.

All staff were more than professional, we really appreciate the small details that you all pay attention to! That really made the difference!!

Looking forward to come back again!!

As most of you know, these tumultuous times are a total nightmare for any wedding couple. The government had put in place many regulations that would have put any couple into a mental smackdown. All gatherings had to be 250 people or less, there had to be a 1 metre distance between guests and all these implementations were put into place ONE DAY before my wedding.

While all hope was slowly ebbing away from me like a leaking bean bag, the Capella team told me not to worry and that we will get through it. I wasn’t so confident and my soul was filled with fear. The Capella wedding planner Jamie sat with me throughout the night and helped me work out the brand new seating arrangements while I furiously chugged 3 Old Fashioned whiskeys (which had to be changed 9 times because of the daily changes the government kept putting in place).

This woman’s mind works like a super computer. She’s always 512 steps ahead of any situation! I had to shift my venue from one area of Capella to a bigger area because of social distancing, and while that may sound like a great idea.. it’s actually not so ideal because my original wedding decorations would look like the beginnings of a zit on a very large forehead in that large space.

Dora who was the florist assigned to me called me immediately after hearing that I had this concern, and worked around my budget for the best floral plans in this situation. The Capella staff handled so many last minutes changes with grace and ease, and they had so many plans of action in place for every possible scenario!

The day of the wedding came, and I hadn’t seen the ballroom yet. I was really upset because I was wondering if my guests were seated wondering if they were there for a rehearsal in a half decorated room or were they really there for a wedding. Were my parents disappointed in me? So many what ifs!!

Time for my march in. The ballroom doors opened and I stepped in. My heart stopped. I didn’t have enough eyes to take in what was around me. I had stepped into a garden of beautiful smiles enveloped amongst a sea of blooming flowers and flickering candles. The natural light was streaming down onto people’s faces in such an angelic way. Was this my wedding??

My heart exploded and the mood of the room was set so beautifully that many guests were tearing throughout the banquet.

It takes a special breed of people to do what these people do. Not many people really care about their job or others. These people; this organization, they care. They care about things before I even start caring.

I love you guys. And I will always and forever be thankful for everything you have done for me.

I went for a stay and realised that checking in was very smooth. Like there was no hustle. Violet was great at checking both of us in. Upon entering the room we realized the room was nicely made. We called the operator and i believe Jean was on the phone as I had asked a lot of questions where he handled it very well. Then I ordered food to eat in the room. My food was sent by a gentleman named Adi who place my food very well and neat. The bed is comfortable that it made us sleep quite fast. Breakfast was good as we requested to sit outdoors but outdoors are often very full. But, Jiwoo, the Hostess, managed to locate us very well and explained the menu to us. Our order was taken by Thera and he was very attentive to us. When our coffee was served we were pleased by the coffee and decided to have another cup. A man named Danial serve our second cup and ask about our first cup of coffee, and we said it was amazing. He recommended us to try the coffee with the danish of the day which was Pain Au Lait and it worked perfectly. He also reminded us to actually not to fully rush on the coffee instead he said to sip the coffee slowly and also to drink lot's of plain water to ensure that we don't get caffeine rush that quickly. When returning to our room I beleive Luke, was doing his inspection rounds and he quickly apologized and I told him it's alright he was just checking on the room as I believe he had an attendant to make it up. When at the pool we realised that our food and drinks have been done efficiently thanks to a man whose name is Sree, which brought our beverages, towel and even plain water with enthusiasm and we managed to enjoy the pool thanks to him and his team which made my stay more memorable. I will remember my stay at Capella and hope to meet them in person when I return. Thank you for making my family and I feel welcomed and thank you all for your outstanding and overwhelming service that went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable time here.

Hi.. We went for our 25th wedding anniversary.. there was a small cake and a small reed diffuser gift kept near the fridge which I only discovered late on the day of arrival. For us our occasion is special and we expect everybody will make it special but nobody even seems to realize or mention it ;-) .. but I then realized that nearly every guest to this resort is there for a really special occasion and for the hotel it is not really special at all and they can't make a big thing for everybody. Plus it's a huge place with lots of people so I expect it is difficult for them to keep track.. They do their best - best not expect too much and be happily surprised by what you do get :)

Hi Georgiana... I am not sure, you might want to double check that. They have peacocks running around the place showboating and getting on peoples nerves so no idea why pets wouldn't be allowed?
