This type of accommodation is commonly called "chalets", and I'm wary of chalets becoz everything is normally beyond filthy about chalets, from the bathroom to the beds to the sheets to the fridge. I came to visit my friends & sat outside most of the time. Didn't want to have anything to do with the place. I think they should...

The room that we check in for our birthday event was totally disappointment. The room was sub standard as there's a few defective stuffs such as door, refrigerator & bed.The best part is the BBQ pit is not included for the staycation & you will required to book the BBQ pit @Minimart next to the reception counter with an additional cost.Basically,I dont...

I went to the Goldkist office at East Coast to book a one night stay. The front desk ladies are so stern, I guess that's the way they work. Well who cares, I thought and manage to get the booking done. Got the deluxe room, party zone area. On Thursday 19June2014. Check-in time 2.30pm, Check-out time 11.30am. One night stay...

I just came back from the resort, the condition was so bad that none of my family members are keen to stay over, or in fact dared to use any of their towels or lie on the bed. 1. A few lizard faeces was found on the bed 2. Spotted baby cockroaches in the room 3. Room floor was dirty...

We usually get a chalet for barbecue and overnight parties. It's close to East Coast Park beach. You need a taxi to get to this place when it's already late, there's a bus from Bedok Bus Interchange if you come early. Try to avoid public holidays as it can be crowded, very crowded. You can rent all your barbeque equipment...

This is not a 5-star 'resort'. It may not even be 1-star. You can't expect too much at the lower price range. The room was quite acceptable to me, but the public areas of the hotel are very poor: shabby, run down, poorly maintained. The phone was not connected, but the air con worked fine. The separate fan had no...

The condition of the room is really bad. Broken window, broken pipes, dusty floor, bad air-conditioning. Really pathetic. The service of the staff too are atrocious, they are simply plain rude. The items in the mini mart seriously are overprice. This is really an unpleasant stay for me and my family. The Management has done a terrible job. Will not...

MONEY MONEY MONEY- That is all they care about here. Please do NOT call yourself a resort- it most definitely is not!!! One n only chalet in Singapore that comes without a bbq pit. $25 (non-refundable) to rent one. And if you are catering outside food, $50 (non-refundable) just for a pass!! You cannot bring your own stools etc.. $2...

We were greeted by a sarcasm by the front desk officer after which we were given a key to a resort D05 which had a broken glass panel. upon entering, there was a shocked discovery such as a splash of paint on the wall and a stinky fridge. There was a left over food in the bottom fridge, gross. The...

Firstly, I am writing this review and I expect an answer to my review. Goldkist Beach Resort should not be called a resort as it is more like a 1 star resort. I am really dissapointed with the resort cleanliness and services. My family decided to have a birthday event at Goldkist which we had booked on 12 April for...
