This was a choice of venue based on availability. I was late booking for my trip and it was the F1 GP weekend. We booked this place knowing that the rooms are egregiously small (unless you are able to get a suite). I was originally booked for a Premium Queen with a view, but was able to get an upgrade to a First Class Queen with a view (and balcony). The size differential was minimal but it did have a separate toilet and shower (as opposed to both being combined).
The room is basically a single block with 60% taken up by the bed and the remainder by the toilet/shower and sink. It does have a small fridge and the rooms are serviced daily. I thought I would struggle with the small size, but you actually get used to it - provided you don't plan on spending too much time in it. It does the job as far as providing a comfortable bed is concerned. I was alone in my room, but if there were 2 people occupying it, then i suspect there would be a lot of ducking and weaving! One major upside is the location - literally in the middle of Orchard Road - a major road for shops and plazas. The breakfast buffet is good without being outstanding - the choices are adequate but not extensive - I have seen complaints about the breakfast selection, which I think are not justified. This was about right for a 4 star venue. The pool is fine given the limited available space. Overall, I believe the cost of $420SGP per night is a little on the high side, but it was the F1 weekend.- I would probably have looked at a 3 rating based on room size and cost, but service, cleanliness, location and food pushed it to a 4.

Hi there, Thank you for your detailed review! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It’s great to hear that you were able to upgrade to a First Class Queen room with a view and a balcony. We understand that our rooms can be compact, especially during busy weekends like the F1 GP, but we're glad to know that you found the bed comfortable and that you adapted to the space. We’re pleased that you enjoyed our prime location on Orchard Road and found the breakfast buffet adequate for a four-star venue. Your feedback about the pool and overall experience is valuable, and we’ll continue to strive for improvements in those areas. Thank you again for your insights, and we hope to welcome you back for another stay in the future! Kind regards, Aliff Ajis Marketing Manager

The hotel is in a good location near Orchard Road and is in a good price range. Despite very minor things, we really enjoyed the stay. Loved that they had this Purple Goes Green campaign where you earn rebate money for choosing not to have housekeeping done for stays longer than 3 days. It makes a lot of sense and also, gave us more impetus to eat at their restaurant on the 10th floor. People are friendly enough. Cool self check-in kiosk (but somehow my reservation wasn't read but staff was super helpful). Loved the Urban Decay toiletries (would have bought but bag was overflowing). Adjustable bed is cool. The bathroom beside the window was a little freaky at first but you get used to it :D Breakfast could use more variety but for the price, seems okay enough. Modern, stylish... not at all like stuffy hotels I used to stay at. Thanks to the conference I attended for introducing me to this hotel. :D

This hotel is located at Orchard which is Singapore's famous area for those who would like to get easy access to shopping malls from local products to luxury brands. It is also quite close to the MRT station which has access to two lines (North-South Line and Thomson-East Line) where either both could either land you to Gardens by the Bay or Marina Bay Sands. A bus stop is also located right next to the hotel as well as a German restaurant that opens till late which has decent burgers for those who are looking to get some food late. 7-Eleven and Cheers convenience stores are also nearby.

The room itself is quite small but from what I know that's how most hotel rooms would be like in Singapore when you pay at this price but I would say that the room in Yotel is better than most. The beds are a bit uncomfortable for me personally but if you like latex beds where its quite soft I think it would suit you. The bed is quite small though so I wouldn't recommend for tall people to put into reference I am 167 cm tall or 5ft 5 and I had roughly 25cm left before my feet would hang off. The bathroom is actually really nice and I think its spacious with it additionally having complimentary toiletries. The hotel room window is located in the bathroom with two types of curtains, one that would give enough shade to the room but still have light in and when combined with the other would black out the room completely.

The gym does have a 24/7 access which is amazing however, it is quite small. It has one cable machine, a rack of dumbbells, a cycling machine and a bench and that's about it. I'd only recommend you to go there when its not peak hours otherwise it would be super cramped and uncomfortable.

The lift is quite slow so if you're quite impatient well yikes. But the lifts are great in a way where it tells you which lift to go to immediately when you press the button.

The hotel room was so small, the view is from the toilet, no closet or drawers to hang or put your clothes, can barely move. There was only 1 restaurant/bar, no room service. Sink is inside the bedroom. So when your sleeping and and woke up bec you forgot to brush your teeth or wash your face, just get up and turn on your right side sink is right there. Staff was ok.

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your feedback. For the room layout, our Premium Queen rooms do come with a mini fridge but without a desk and chair, while our Premium Plus rooms are equipped with these amenities for added comfort. As for the room size, we do our best to ensure that our visitors know just what to expect by including detailed room descriptions, dimensions, and photos on our website. We understand the compact design and open sink placement might not be ideal for everyone, and we’re grateful for your input as we continuously strive to improve. Your comments regarding room service and overall amenities have been noted for review. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Kind regards, Aliff Ajis Marketing Manager

First of all, breakfast is an extra charge, but it doesn't taste good and doesn't suit the tastes of people from all over the world. I won't talk about the cleanliness of the room. Anyway, the bed and disposable slippers, and even the toothbrush and toothpaste later were no longer replaced. We booked a room for a whole week, so overall I was very disappointed.

The location of the hotel was excellent and very convenient, making it easy to access local attractions, restaurants, and transport options. The room, though on the smaller side, was well-organized and efficient. If you're traveling with large luggage, it might be a bit of a challenge, but for lighter travelers, the space is more than adequate. Despite its size, the room was incredibly sustainable, incorporating eco-friendly features that align with modern, environmentally-conscious practices. It was also very comfortable, with a cozy bed and all necessary amenities, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room was exceptional, with everything spotless and maintained to the highest standards, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere throughout the duration of my stay.

The room was small, but had everything that you needed even an umbrella that you could use if it rained. The bed would elevate at the head and they had adequate pillows to be comfortable. The shower had a rain head in place which made the showering experience lovely. Motel was close to everything which made it easy to travel within the city.

Had a one night “staycation” here because I had an evening event that would end late, and it was an amazing experience.

Yotel Orchard is literally one minute from the heart of Orchard Road but it cost less than half of what the other hotels in the area are charging. Despite the price, this is no budget hotel too. Service is prompt and professional, the premises are modern and clean. Thanks to thoughtful design and space-saving features, the standard Premium Queen Room doesn’t feel cramped too. I love the adjustable Smartbed, which is soft and fluffy. The panoramic bathroom and the branded toiletries also add a touch of luxury.

As for the breakfast buffet, it’s not comparable to the massive buffet spreads of larger hotels but there’s enough variety to appeal. (They have Indian Putu Mayam, which you don’t often see in breakfast buffets) In summary, this was a great stay for me. I will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

-Location OK, right in Orchard and close to MRT, but far from attractions
-Difficult to find at first as entrance very hidden, then 5-10min walk through ION shopping center to the next train station
- Tiny room, you can just about put your suitcases on the floor - then there was no more space, the bed was much too small for 2 people
- Shower / toilet with open glass front so manual darkening with roller blinds is always necessary
- Pool has no view even though it is on the 10th floor, but you look out onto the adjacent building (built on), hardly any loungers and no charm - not inviting to relax and linger
- Self service at check-in and check-out
- Luggage could be stored safely (locked) including receipt due to late return flight
- Service staff at reception were nice, friendly and helpful

Summary: Low budget (for Singapore standards, price/performance too low) but only recommended for a short time as the room and surroundings do not contribute to relaxation.

Overall, my experience with the location and accommodations has left me thoroughly satisfied. The combination of a convenient location and well-appointed room has significantly contributed to my positive impressions. The cleanliness of the space is commendable, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The modern amenities provided enhance the overall experience, meeting and even exceeding my basic requirements.

The value for the price paid is truly exceptional. Considering the quality of the facilities and services offered, the cost-effectiveness is noteworthy. This makes the accommodation an attractive option for individuals traveling alone or as a couple. The affordability paired with the high standard of the facilities makes it a practical and appealing choice for those seeking comfort and convenience without breaking the bank.

Whether embarking on a solo adventure or enjoying a romantic getaway with a partner, this location proves to be versatile and accommodating. The positive aspects, from the cleanliness and modernity of the room to the overall value for the cost, contribute to a satisfying and enjoyable stay. In conclusion, I find this accommodation to be a well-rounded and excellent choice, offering a harmonious blend of comfort, convenience, and affordability for both solo and couple trips alike.

I never been there, but as far the others rooms I don´t think it is big enough to this. also the bathrooms are "open concept" with glasses only, not walls, so it may be similar in that room as well.
