Good service, cheap, friendly staff and lots and lots of fun. Great food at Chinatown Traditional Kitchen which is just beside the hostel. I love the chili crab and salted egg chicken. I will definitely will be coming back for more.

Stayed in a bunk bed room. Double bed on bottom and single bed on top. Shared bathroom down the corridor with 2 showers, 2 sinks and 2 toilets. Pros: - Quiet - No queue for the bathroom. Bathroom was decent sized. Shower in the room style but big enough to not be an issue - Room can sleep 3 people...

Well located, in the middle of Chinatown. The shared bathroom is clean and the staff friendly. Maybe it's quite expensive if you consider the room and the services of the hostel. I think it is an average hotel/hostel in Singapore.

Reasonable price, reasonable facilities. Noise not too bad outiside, clean ish showers, small sized rooms and mattresses not the best. But you spend little time here as want to be out exploring anyway. Would stay here again.

Clean room and toilet, near to all Singapore attractions, Great service. MRT is just five minutes walk away. Very near to Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Clarke Quay, Sentosa Island and Orchard Malls. Try and visit National Parks, its fantastic.

The most important thing about this hostel is the price : cheap. The rest is quite okay, not bad, not great. Not a lot of confort but the minimal required (towels, lockers, showers, wifi and toilets). Well situated in a nice area, easy to find, if you're here to visit Singapour and you want to spend less money as possible...

I book for double room, but luckily i got room for four people. Room quiet enough for 2 people but not sure if 4 people stay at this room. Really don't like with the mattress. Fell pain when sleep on the mattress, i think it's just foam mattress.. They provide unlimited mineral water, refrigerator, bread roaster, hot water, eat utensils...

Dorm - cramped. Divided from other dorm spaces by cloth. I'll type that again. cloth. Imagine some of the worst Karaoke you've ever heard. OK, so that's playing downstairs till 2am. Bring earplugs and it's a bearable, backpacker's night. Good location on Mosque street and offers laundry. Single Room - Overpriced. Different building, so no Karaoke. Quieter with AC. Still...

Small room. Not clean. No sound prove. Bed was so unstable. It's always making loud noise when I move. I chose here because I had no choice. My flight is retiming and I really needed a place to stay. Good bye.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
