The room looked exactly like the photos shown online -Very spacious.
The Aircon ventilators needs to be cleaned or painted as there are black marks seen. The staffs needs to smile more and try to strike conversations and greet the guests.
Booked a family room and there is a smoking area allowed at the balcony. The view was amazing just sad that we cant go into the golf green after hours.
NTUC there is closed down for good so better come prepared with all the snacks and drinks unless you intend to head out. Free parking is also available on site.
Overall, it's not bad for a country club. We would return again once social gathering is allowed.

We had a 2 day stay at OCC deluxe room. As is perhaps already evident from other comments but still clearly putting it out there - rooms are (property in general) dated and do require a overall revamp rather than temp fixes. Cleanliness isn't the perfect one (we did spot some spider webs, ants, cockroaches) though these were fixed once highlighted at reception. What compensates for these shortcomings is the balcony and the view. What can't be replaced is good hospitality and unfortunately even there OCC falls short. The staff especially at veranda cafe shows no politeness. Even front desk staff is quite indifferent with no greetings or warmth. Our refuge was par lounge which had a nice and cosy ambience with decent service. To enjoy here, it's best to come prepared( for e.g. even get your plates, as they won't provide it unless you order something from their local restaurant). Everything like some ice,or an extra bottle of water etc is chargeable which other hotels may mostly not charge for. We didn't try out any other restaurants as reviews online were mixed. If one is a member (makes it more reasonable) & can make peace with the old rooms, indifferent service, comes prepared and are self sufficient to enjoy your room then one can indeed enjoy the peace and quiet with a wonderful view..

Great escape. Peaceful.
Love the ambience.
Though receptionist is not friendly and seems like stress. 🤷🏻♂️
The room is accommodating for Deluxe Quad.
The room booking was not included with the room price but you can find Subway there and NTUC.
There is gym, Muay Thai classes, gymnast classes and many more. Huge place.
Great for hangout with friends. There is a shuttle bus to Yishun MRT if you wanna dine out at Northpoint is easy to reach.

We paid a decent amount to stay a night plus extra 4 hours. More than $400SGD.
Room is big and spacious. Balcony is okay with a decent view, until the insects and lizards start coming out.
This is not my first time staying here, previously when they had NTUC in compound I had to stay here for 10 Days(renovation). With the NTUC it was very convenient as I was with my children.
This time was just a Night stay. For the amount charged, if we had stayed in hotels in town the cleanliness will be in a tip top condition. Here the glasses, the cutleries, the bedsheet and the worst of all the toilet (floor, handle, bowl, sink, shower area) was disgusting...
Customer service was not very good too. A little smile on the counter staff might be nice.
Just 2-3 hours before we checked out, while still in the rooms, We asked for extra bottles of water(2), as there was no more NTUC now, we were told to pay.
Then when I called at 9am to ask for an extension, initially was told that the room was to be occupied by another guest so cannot extend but if we really need then we have to pay $15++ /hour. Then I wondered what happened to the guest.. I eventually still paid for the extra 4 hours. (Not that we wanted to but my house was going through a day renovation).
Then there is the price itself. Usually if we book from the hotels directly they will suggest or offer best rates possible but weirdly they had the most expensive rate which I only later realised compared to 3rd party companies.
I hope some nice gestures with some good customer service will keep guests coming back. This will be my last one here.

We just had a family reunion dinner there, 2 tables. The whole night was full of surprised that missing order was reckoned when we ordered dessert. Then when they re-ordered, it was ordered only 1 fish for 1 table but not the others. The worst is the fish was overcooked and disappointed even it costed $110. Certain dessert 1 table has but the other table out of order. We also ordered noodle then was asked if we wanted fry noodle or stream noodle, when we asked what the different, we’re told the stream one will be severed individually and they recommended this. At the end, it was 3 plates of noodle served which like dry noodle with gravy per person. So at the first place, they should not recommended such type since we wanted a noodle to be shared for a table with 9 persons. Do you think any hk restaurant will recommend you to order a bowl of wanton noodle while you have family dinner by ordering 8-9 dishes? It is very unprofessional for the waiter to recommend something that he is not sure and/or without explain in detail. In summary, Overpriced, poor serviced and messy arrangement.

Coming from a hotelier, besides room size and scenic view from the room, AND BIDET in toilet, everything else needs improving. Room slippers were half-paper thin, turned slimy at the sole when it came in contact with water. Pool towels not provided at pool, guests have to collect from reception which is located on a different floor. Facilities not introduced or mentioned to guests upon check-in. If you're not going to provide bottled water, at least have a filtered water tap.Staff at reception more interested in having a conversation amongst themselves than providing service. Are you hiring the correct people for this industry? Late check-out is chargeable at $15++ per hour. City hotels with 200-400 rooms accord late check-out subject to availability, on complimentary basis. Even my most junior staff would have performed better at the front desk.
Wasted $400 on this.

The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are spacious (family room) with an outdoor patio area, and the bathrooms are nice.
There's 3 pools, a kids playground and a bowling alley - unfortunately run by staff trying to make a quick buck and no concept of service - so it is good for family time.
But that's about it. The food is terrible, fluorescent ham in sandwiches, fries are cooked in oil so old you can taste it. I tried the Asian fare thinking it may be better but it wasn't. And that's the place where you go for breakfast...
Last but not least, poor value. At $300/night for a hotel in Seletar (!!), breakfast not even included, this is terrible value. At half the price, I may consider coming again for the kids, as long as we can have takeaway food !!

Stayed at this hotel as I wanted to explore the wildlife on the rivers edge, but it was out of bounds and only accessible to those playing golf.
My room was wonderfully large and clean. There was a minibar in my room. Despite having a price list on the door the minibar itself was empty. The hotel advertises an on-site NTUC Supermarket - long since closed. Restaurants appear run down generally. Bowling alley was closed. No vending machines for snacks.
Saw some nice dragonflies and sunbirds in the grounds.
Not too expensive if you book on the day, but I don’t think I would return. One night was enough.

It was a pleasant experience. Just a small feedback , the frontline staff can be more friendly . I found they are bit unfriendly and strict , specially there was a Chinese lady in the front desk when we checked in on 1st of May 2021. She was not friendly at all and never smiled !
But the overall experience was good.
The family room was awesome .
Just the lights are very less inside the room and can change to white light instead of yellow lights.
Thanks.

Amazing huge family room. 2 singled and a queen. Perfect for 2A and 2C( age 15 and 10). Located on 1st floor facing golf course.
Checking was a breeze. Mr Hisham attended to us, a friendly and cheerful guy.
Room AC was just right cool and Heater was nice and hot for a warm bath. There
were three pools but we only used the bunker pool which was just a few meters from our room. They had an Olympic pool and a huge wading pool, good for toddlers and preschoolers. Unfortunately weather was cloudy and drizzling but my boys still had a great time.
Our family had lunch at Himawari at the Driving Range. Dinner ar Ban Heng. Next morning breakfast at Subway which was located ar the Olympic Pool. Everything within the Club itself. Vending machines aplenty near to a supermarket. My boys had two hot cooca which they took a liking.
Overall an enjoyable stay and we definitely would return given the size of the family room which one could not find commonly in Singapore.
Note: collect pool towel from reception if you are heading to Bunker Pool. Wading and Olympic Pool collect from Sport Center facing Olympic Pool.

Yes there is!
Hi, unfortunately there's no indian restaurant here nor do they serve Indian breakfast. However, you can ask the receptionist / concierge for a guide on how to get to the nearest HDB coffeeshop - where the locals have their breakfast. There are Indian stalls in the local eating stalls. Hope this helps.
Hello. As I traveled with two friends, we stayed in a triple bed room (deluxe family) on the ground floor, close to reception and one of the pools. All of us had very clean, comfortable beds and no complaints about noise. The hotel has an efficient lift, so I would email Mary (resort Manager) and request a room that suits your needs. Mary and her staff were very helpful in these matters. Hope you enjoy your stay and get a chance to play some great golf!
