Nice hotel located very close to an mrt station. Only stayed one night as a stopover in Singapore. Room was nice, clean and well equipped. The dress code was not well communicated at time of booking and as a result of not being aware I arrived in shorts and open shoes. With no spare clothes I did not feel comfortable...

If you want a clean room at a reasonable price in the heart of Singapore, this is the place. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, hotel bar (cheap!), proximity to trains and buses. Breakfast is average but we brought some extras from the supermarket to make it more diverse. Would come again next time.

The Residences at Singapore Recreation Club, is a perfect place for short stay at the centre of Singapore. The room I stayed in was perfectly functional and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping was good and the Tea/Coffee station was replenished. The boxy room may well have made me feel a bit claustrophobic if it did not open into a corridor with a...

What a gem! Unbeatable location with key tourist sights all within walking distance. There is an old world charm about the location that is hard to find elsewhere in Singapore. City Hall, Chjmes, Raffles hotel, Arab st all within walking distance.

Great location, central to city and Marina Bay. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. You are on level 3 and the hallways are old and run down. The free breakfast at the poolside cafe was not good at all, and you are inhaling the smell of chlorine from the indoor pool. Staff weren't as friendly as what...

Yes you may find this hotel slightly cheaper than other hotels in the area but it is not worth the disappointment to save only a few dollars. Please read the many negative comments from seasoned travelers and the robotic careless response from management. This is not a hotel in my humble opinion, it is more of an up market hostel...

3rd stop of our tour. This is the oddest city hotel. It's literally a racquet club with rooms (and rules!) its brilliantly located, and great links to trains. It's a bit dated and smelly, but clean. Rooms ok size and good facilities, however plugs didn't work so fridge stunk. Weird old fashioned rules.... no bar. Asked if we could get...

This was a nice hotel with small rooms, nice exercise facilities and a location close to both Marina Bay and the bus station. There are wonderful restaurants close by, a nice mall and lots of green space. The breakfast is fine and open until 10:30 which was nice. I found it to be the perfect location to explore Singapore from.

This is not a hotel, so do not expect a friendly welcoming reception entrance and you are told to go to the 3rd floor for room check in. Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
