We felt the love at the hotel. Ivan and the staff took care of us like family. The amenities are excellent. The location is perfect and the beds are super comfortable. The rooms are extremely quiet. Located in the CBD area, just a stone throw away from Telok Ayer MRT station, the Clan hotel has a very good location for the business and leisure travellers. Just a few minutes walk to the Financial district, and also a few minutes walk to Chinatown and a whole lot of food options like hawker centers, restaurants and bars, all within the property's vicinity. Love the Chinese tea scent that welcomes the guest upon arrival, and the ever friendly staff at the front desk. Farah was very friendly and professional, and was kind enough to showed us to our room and for a room tour. The Grand Premier room was very spacious, with a few daybeds by the 2 side of the glass windows, overlooks the Chinatown area which is great to catch sunset and the CBD view on the other side of the room. Love the modern Chinese design with a darker tone throughout the room and a grey tone in the bathroom area. Before checking in I was able to select 5 complementary snacks/drinks from a range of selection, which is great and it reduces wastage. And love that each room is equipped with a filtered water dispenser instead of bottled water, although I would love to see waste bin for recyclable items. The sky pool on level 35 was amazing, though it wasn't big for more than 20 pax, but it is a great spot to soak up some sun and relax in the water, with the amazing view of Singapore skyline. Overall it was a great experience staying with the Clan hotel, and it has been a long while since I checked out a brand new hotel and glad this property was a great one.

So upon check-in, we were served by Kenneth Ong. While we were waiting to be brought up to our room, there was a tea ceremony that my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed (it's only for fully vaccinated people though, understandably). Following that, Kenneth brought us to our room and gave us our room tour. He was very meticulous, welcoming and his service was 100/10! He even took care of small details such as ringing the doorbell and knocking the door before letting us enter, which for me personally, was him displaying a great attention to detail since it's the seventh lunar month now. His room tour was elaborate and he really went above and beyond for us. We really appreciated the warm welcome from him which helped make our entire stay feel really pleasant as well.
We booked the Premier Room, which meant having a few more perks than if we had booked the Deluxe Room. We had views on two sides of the room (which were beautiful), overlooking CBD area and Chinatown. There was also a selection of five different snacks we could choose from a list prior to our arrival (pretty atas) and also bar soaps that were offered to us. We also could have two pieces of clothing pressed (complementary). You can make tea in your own room as well since there's a mini tea set (not sure if it's for Deluxe Rooms as well).
Overall, the room was a little small, the stay was on the pricier side and only the Grand Premier room has a bathtub. However, the hotel is at an excellent location with Telok Ayer MRT just a two minutes walk away, plenty of food just opposite the hotel on Amoy Alley, the bed was sooo comfy, and the service/hospitality Kenneth provided us with really made the stay a comfortable and pleasant one!

We were looking for a new hotel to try out and decided to book The Clan Hotel with their 1 for 1 night promo; this is one of the best stay ever!
Starting right from the check in, Mr Clamence (Front desk gentleman) made the experience complete by making sure that you are aware of the amenities and features of the room. Room is clean, really clean. I was inspecting and couldn't find a single speck of dust! ok. it might sounds exaggerating but I was really impressed with the housekeeping effort; Ms Hai Yan from the housekeeping team was meticulous in her work and ensured that my requests were all well delivered!
The room is the Grand Premier setup with wonderful views of the CBD and next to it a huge movable TV with enough channels to keep you entertained in room. It also comes with bathtub where you can enjoy the wonderful sunset view whilst soaking and enjoying the 6 selectable snacks given as part of the deal and these are really quality stuff!
The location itself is wonderful too, though not situated directly in the shopping district, but it is just a stone throw away from Telok Ayer MRT and 5 mins walk to Chinatown point. But the real good food can be found at Maxwell Food Center and Hong Lim Complex which is just a 5-10 min walk away.
With the good selection of the food around this hotel, there is not a moment where I have to worry about what to eat but if I could, I will stay a few more nights to try out the food in the hotel café.
Overall experience is great and the service and environment is beyond 5 stars standard to me. I felt like home but in a luxury setup that you don't really see in many hotels. Kudos to the team behind this and I look forward to stay in The Clan Hotel again

Hotel is situated in the CBD district of Singapore. Although not near any malls, the location of hotel in Telok Ayer mean that guests are not short of dining options around the hotel. Many restaurants to be found around the hotel, and popular hawker places like Maxwell and Chinatown is within walking distance from the hotel too. Located next to the mrt station, the hotel serves as a good base to explore Singapore. For those driving, complimentary parking is provided by the hotel at the carpark in the next building.
The rooms are small but cosy, the room I stayed in was the Deluxe room which does not come with tub. Consider booking premium rooms if tub is needed. Bed was very comfortable and firm, which provided my family with very good rest. Rooms do not provide bottled waters, instead filtered water is provided to reduce single use plastic. Nespresso pods available in the room. Hotel provides tea by Pryce instead of the usual TWG that you will find in hotels in Singapore, which is a refreshing change. I enjoyed The Ritual tea which is specially curated by Pryce for the hotel.
Range of equipment in the gym is extensive, with trampoline, punching bag, spin bikes and the usual weights and treadmill available.
Dining within the property is limited to Qin Restaurant & Bar, but the quality of food served is good, my family enjoyed our meals there. If not, there are lots of options around the property.

It was my first time at The Clan Hotel and I was very pleased with the entire stay. Hotel is clean, modern yet homely, smells good and comes with very well equipped rooms, gym and washing areas. I appreciated the heritage of the hotel in terms of the Clan Collective support and value add to all visitors on a brief history of the location and Singapore. I enjoyed the personal tea ceremony drink upon check-in by Master Chua and especially love it that every room comes with its own hydroflux tap where you get to access quality drinking water at all times. The location of the hotel was fantastic and still private with many good food and heritage sites within walking distances. I will be back again and highly recommend others to visit too for staycations.

We stayed here 2 nights for a birthday celebration and it was an awesome experience. Everything was great, right from the start when we were picked up for the limousine transfer. The check-in experience was pleasant and the welcome tea and snack were a refreshing treat.
The rooms were tastefully designed and filled with surprises, we were given a little introduction to the room and apart from the usual tea and coffee corner, there were snacks, a Chinese tea drinking set, sanitising extras and we were also offered our choice of a handmade bar soap. The room was comfortable and immaculate, it was very clean and made for a relaxing stay. There was also a turn-down service which made the room feel cozier, a joy to return to after dinner.
We had the chance to try four of the breakfast meals over two mornings and enjoyed them all. The local porridge sounds like a simple and cosy meal but it was sumptuous, definitely the most sumptuous porridge we have ever had.
We also checked out the pool and jacuzzi and they were awesome experiences. The pool had a great view overlooking the CBD and Chinatown and the heated jacuzzi was great for cool evenings.
Last but not the least, the service was great throughout our stay, and it started even before our stay when we received an email arranging our pick-up. The staff were helpful when we requested for ice and also kindly surprised us with a cake for the birthday.
The Clan Hotel is definitely setting the bar high.

My partner and I were there for the soft opening, to mark several milestones in our lives and our anniversary. We had a very warm welcome by the staff and my partner is particularly appreciative that the hotel staff approaches and engages the female in a couple. The scent at the lobby is refreshing and the lobby area is artfully designed to preserve the traditional aspects of Chinatown, particularly the clan associations, while infusing it with the modernity of Singapore today. While checking in, we were invited to the hotel with a 'tea ceremony' by the team master, Alex. He offers guests with a cold towel, a cup of the clan’s unique Nanyang ritual tea, and a tau sa piah. We learnt so much from our interactions with Alex that we dropped by the lobby just to have tea and talk to him on our second and third day of our stay. He even offered the cold brew which is highly recommended on a hot afternoon.
Our stay was in a Premium King room on the 12th Floor. As it was a corner room, it offers a beautiful view of the skyline overlooking the shop houses at Amoy Street. The room feels spacious and the locations of the amenities are well thought-out, neatly packed and easily accessible. In particular, the work desk faces the window which allow us to work comfortably while the lounging area stretches across the entire window area, allowing us to enjoy drinks while overlooking the amoy street area. It is definitely a great place for young business travelers and their partners. The room is very quiet at night and is very conducive for resting and working on other time zones. The 24hr in room dining service is appreciated since we had to work late into the night.
The gym has a wide range of equipment which includes jumping boxes and on-demand virtual courses displayed through a huge screen. The pool overlooks the city and the jacuzzi is sizeable. As for food, the restaurant has a good range of food and is designed in a way that is good for hosting dinners.
Additionally we signed up for the complimentary precinct tour. The tour lasted for about an hour and as there wasn't any other participants, we had a very enjoyable private tour led by Joyce. For non-locals, it is a good chance to learn some history of the area and some good places for dining in the area. Even as locals, we learn more about the illustrious history and events of the area.
We were thankful for their hospitality and were very impressed that they are able to remember our names. They made us feel as though we are a part of them and were definitely well taken care of. We would like to thank Joyce, Sam, Sameul, Vanessa, Alex and Diane for making our stay a very memorable one.
*Fun fact – all staff have unique work attires specially designed and fitted to each individual by a local tailor.

My husband and I visited The Clan Hotel for our staycation, and it was a wonderful experience for us. We receive by the front desk receptionist Joanne, her warm personality gives us a very good impression since the beginning of our stay. Joanna’s service is really awesome, she has a spirit of excellence and she goes extra miles to help us to fulfill our needs throughout our stay. Thank you Joanne for being so awesome! You are really amazing!
Our housekeeping staff Fei Yan is also very good, she has a strong sense of responsibility and she is excellence in housekeeping sanitation, safety, comfort and aesthetics for the hotel guests. We are truly blessed to be able to serve by Fei Yan.
The hotel manager Christina is very helpful to attend to us when we enquire something at the lobby. Her friendliness make us feel at ease.
The food in the restaurant (Qin by Tung Lok) is very delicious. We had the special set for our dinner for two, everything is simply delicious! Other than the set dinner, we also had Muachi and Sticky Date Pudding, both are worth trying!
The location of the hotel is very good as well, very accessible, can easily visit places nearby, and many food selection. There is a Far East Square behind the hotel, and there are variate of food there. If you like to explore different culture, can go Amoy Street and Temple Street to explore.
We love the vibe of the hotel, a modern luxury with a nostalgic story to tell. The staff really bring out the theme of the hotel, the kindred spirit, the Clan, 自己人。

Service: The level of service at The Clan is truly impeccable. The attention to detail from start to end of our stay is immeasurable. From a in-room check-in by Front Office Manager (Juan Paulo) to personalized amenity basket + welcome letter to welcome tea in the room to gula meleka cake for our anniversary. The high standards if service is evident throughout all departments from the housekeeping staff to service phone operator. The staff truly cares about the guests & treated us like one of their own. Special mention to Kenneth from Front Office for attending to us throughout our stay as well.
Room: The room is amazing with a splendid view. we stayed at the Premier Room and it was sealed before we checked in. The room had a clean water tap dispenser which we found to be a great substitute to disposable plastic bottles. There was also UV steriliser & a personal care package with masks & hand sanitizers. The room also came with a smart toilet. The smart TV alllowed us to chromecast our fav shows. The breakfast was delicious. The scrambled eggs for the signature QIN breakfast was the standout. A truly luxurious experience and we felt rejuvated after staying there for 2D1N.
We will definitely return to stay. Highly recommended.

At 5* a fully private bathroom is a must. We had one, do not know our room category. The floor plan is clever to me but rooms are not vast but sufficiently large
Hi, I honestly would not recommend you to just book one room. As the other user stated, the 'sofa' is definitely not comfortable enough to sleep on. I would advise you to book two rooms or even stay at another hotel...
