Our stay in 5 foot way Chinatown 1 has been truly disastrous. It's true that Singapore is an expensive city however the price we paid for a private room (TINY !!! We barely could leave our bags on the floor) doesn't justify how awful the...More
Staff was friendly and amazing. It was clean, comfortable, with security in the room. You can use the facility if you arrive before your check-in or if you leave lat after check out. I had great roomates as well.
Singapur is not a cheap place to stay long, so probably you will need to share a dorm.
This is a good option because it is well located and it includes breakfast.
However, the rooms are small without windows.

TripAdvisor is proud to partner with HostelWorld, Expedia, Ctrip TA, Hotels.com, Orbitz, Booking.com, Hotwire, Travelocity, Cheap Tickets and HotelQuickly so you can book your 5footway.inn Project Chinatown 1 reservations with confidence. We help millions of travellers each month to find the perfect hotel for both holiday and business trips, always with the best discounts and special offers.
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.

Our 5footway.inn hostels do have a microwave however, not a stove-top. Other facilities include a fridge as well but guests will have to tagged it under their own name as it is shared among other guests that are staying in the hostel as well. In addition, water dispensers and coffee machines are available 24/7 at the common areas.
We hope the above information clarifies.
