Very clean, friendly staff, price quite cheap, very near to most tourist spots and very good breakfast and free wifi. Good TV and many channels, children, comedies, your tubes, good collections of good library of books. Games for all ages, electronic musical instruments. Good convention microwave oven. A refrigitator for our unfinished foods, friuts and cakes. There is also hot...

Arriving in Singapore, or any city in the middle of the night is never convenient. We needed a place to shower, and get a few much needed hours sleep after traveling for over 20 hours. This highly recommend hostel in a perfect neighborhood for some local culture seemed like a perfect choice. There's a convenient( every 30 minutes or so)...

i stayed 2 nights in this place, solo travelling. I rent the 10 bed mixed dormitory with locker and aircond. Worth the price i think. Cozy living room, self service pantry, friendly atmosphere, good safety. I have nothing to complain about. Will come again definitely.

I have kept coming back to five stones hostel every for three years in a row now and would not even think of trying new place in Singapore. I am always amazed by how nice the staff is each time I walk in the hostel. The location is fantastic, not far away from bars and restaurants but also the city...

Really disappointed after reading the reviews of this "sociable hostel". Coming from places like Thailand, Vietnam and Laos I've been to a lot of hostels. This one is bad, not social at all. A few good points before I talk about the negatives. Good location, friendly receptionist, lockers, mattress isn't completely bad. Now the negatives, this hostel is completely unsociable...

I had a very nice stay here. The hostel location is quite strategic to me, nearby two stations, Bugis and Nicoll Highway. It has an accommodating staff. The room and I stayed in (For 6 persons) is neat, clean and has no problems at all. The common area is nicely-designed and organized and emits a nice vibe. It also has...

The staff was very helpful. On a downside - I personally do not like the no-shoe policy. The bathrooms were on the corridor - male bathroom on the 3rd floor, female on the 4th, so sometimes you need to walk pretty far. Also they were a bit small.

Very good location close to a MRT station. But you can also walk to the main attractions if you prefer that. Nice atmosphere and the rooms are well equipped with lockers and sockets on each bed. If you have the possibility bring you own towel, its not included in the price. Very helpful staff. Definitely the better solution then to...

Since my first time staying in this hostel when I visited Singapore in August 2016, I kept going back to them because I cannot risk getting lousy beds in other hostels, although the other hostels are nicely decorated and it always entice me to go try. Also because Five Stones is so near to Bugis MRT station. I don't like...

I was looking for a place for 2N. I thought it looked fine and probably okish for my price range. I did a walking without knowing the prices upfront and it took me quite by surprise when I heard they charge 33SD for a dorm. But then I figured everything is pricy in Singapore so let's give it a try....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Singapore's best and friendliest hostel! With each of our rooms featuring interesting designs, Five Stones Hostel gives Singapore cultural elements a refreshing new lease of life. Quirky designs and decor characterize our spanking new boutique hostel. Boasting one of the best beds among Singapore hostels (8 inch orthopaedic spring mattresses, no less) and conveniently located within 10mins walking distance to the majority of Singapore's key tourist attractions, it's the latest addition to the plethora of high quality budget accommodation in Singapore which blurs the line between hostel and hotel. ... more   less
