Overall a terrific first experience! I chose this hotel for its central location and what I saw on the website of the modern, Scandinavian-feel interior design of the rooms. I had a very happy stay (three nights) and Ariff was especially helpful upon checkout in helping me book a taxi as well as cheerfully keeping me informed of the taxi's arrival. Not only that, I happened to witness how helpfully he gave directions to another lady who wanted to know how to walk to the museum. I also liked, very much, how the shower water temperature and the room air-conditioning temperature could be adjusted to EXACTLY how I wanted both. Many hotels around the world don't actually achieve this -- their water is too hot / their aircon is too cold. This place got it right. I will definitely choose to stay here again.

We stayed in a family room with children on one side sharing the bunk bed and parents staying at the loft room. It is a wonderful setting for our family. While the kids can enjoy their room with children facilities (toys, slide and etc), we can rest peacefully on the other side of the room.
The furniture in the room is well-designed and thoughtful, they have soft corner for the children.
The rooftop swimming pool is very nice. We spent our afternoons there every day!
The complimentary ice cream and mini bars are nice gestures that make us feel welcome and special.
Staffs are very friendly and caring as well. They understand our needs and provide us high quality of services.

Arriving early, the front reception was very accommodating. Arief, managed our check in process seamlessly and got the room ready at 12pm.
During our stay
We were having a holiday in Singapore to taste the flavour filled traditional food available. Arief, went beyond his role by researching and presenting us with a printed customised list of restaurants, walks and food courts to try suited to our dietary requirements. Any time we had a specific food type we were looking for, Arief would inform us of the shops or restaurants we could go to.
Nothing was an issue for this hotel. As the TV did not support streaming, easily solved with Izham from front desk bringing a Google Chromecast device and was very helpful with offering assistance from the technical team if we had problems with it.
Housekeeping - The rooms were always kept clean and tidy. One of the days there was a delay cleaning our room. Again no problems. Rang housekeeping and after explaining the delay (which was totally acceptable), the service was organised within half and hour.
Breakfast - the breakfast offered was ok with limited choices for vegetarians. The minor comment I would make is that the staff were not as welcoming or courteous. We had high expectations after our interactions with the other staff.

Illham attended to us. Again it was seamless and very pleasant. Even at checkout, we discussed all the new things happening in Singapore which we have earmarked for our next trip.

Amazing staycation to celebrate a child’s 5th birthday. The Family Suite was decked out with very thoughtful and well-curated touches that catered to the needs of both adults and toddlers. The children were delighted with their room, and were perfectly happy to stay there to clamber over the bunk bed, squeal down the slide, and chill on the beanie bag chairs as they played with the assortment of toys provided. Shout out to Izham for the thoughtful message that came with the cake for the birthday celebrant. As for the property itself, it was tidy and neat (the lift gave a very Wes Anderson vibe, iykyk) and was compact but charming. We loved the location as well, on a more quiet side of Dhoby Ghaut with easy access to malls, parks, and playgrounds. We will be back!

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff put out small cards to let us know their cleaning schedule. This was helpful and didn't disturb us, very good service experience!
In addition, in the hotel lobby, you can get ice water and coffee every day, and in the afternoon they serve ice cream, which is nice for cooling down. They also provide free snacks for guests daily. Overall, I really recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Singapore.

My daughter had two shows on two different days to watch at the Esplanade, so we decided to stay in a hotel downtown.
Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore is approximately ten minutes walk from Dhoby Gaut MRT Exit B. This includes crossing two traffic lights which are perpendicular to one another.
Sherly checked us in, upgraded our room (probably because I was an Ascott Star Rewards Silver member), and was the only front-office staff who greeted and smiled at us throughout our stay.
Our Deluxe Room was small (around 20 sqm), but the lack of space was compensated with a tinge of gilded furnishing; free mini bar (a pack of nuts, a pack of potato chips, four different types of canned / bottled drinks); filtered water dispenser; four different varieties of Monogram tea leaves; a coffee pod machine; and generous bathroom amenities. (There were also free ice-cream near the lift every afternoon.)
Small gestures like these made me feel that the hotel put in extra efforts for their guests' comfort.
We were fortunate that the swimming pool was not crowded on the following afternoon. There were two aqua-exercise machines and a couple of big inflatables for people to relax on.
A couple of cafes and a local eatery could be found next to the hotel's side entry, but they were only open during the day. However, more food shops could be found at Dhoby Gaut Exchange (just below Dhoby Gaut MRT Exit B).

The hotel is fairly new, with warm and accommodating staff. To get to your room, you will need to tap your key card when selecting your floor in the elevator. The key card opens your room, and you won't have to slot the card in on any recess just to turn on the electricity. Love this feature!
Inside your room, you'll have daily complimentary water, small safe, small ref (1 liter bottles will not fit), Lavazza coffee machine with pods, electric water kettle, iron with ironing board, hair dryer (it's inside a drawer on top of the ref), hot and cold shower, water closet with bidet, TV with English channels, and fast wifi. Our room had a window, but the window was inside the bathroom. Outside your room and up the elevators, there's a swimming pool and a gym, but I didn't get to try those.
We didn't have breakfast included, but there are numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. Speaking of nearby, Dhoby Ghaut station is just walking distance, so taking a train or a bus was a breeze! There's also a 711 and a smoking area nearby. If you wanna see some tourist spots, Fort Canning and the National Musuem is just walking distance as well. Superb location!

It was a beautiful coincidence to meet this hotel. Originally we had a team of 50 people and planned to do a week-long boot camp at the nearby workcentral office space. We asked the person in charge and recommended Citadines, which was said to be newly opened. The hotel manager was very warm and humble, and the whole process of looking at the rooms was very comfortable, and the trial stay was a good experience. I was given some feedback on the adjustments I wanted to make, and I got the results quickly. (Newly opened hotel, inevitably there are some shortcomings, timely adjustment, attitude is very good.) The welcome dinner in the restaurant is very delicious, and friends who traveled with us said they were amazing. A group of people stayed 7 days because the location is better, the traffic is very convenient, and room service is also good. Every day the cleaning staff will carry out a full house cleaning.
Overall, the hotel's level of service is very good, especially the management of the docking staff attitude is very good, modest and low-key enthusiasm, flexible to help adjust to solve a variety of unexpected needs, is a very good choice for the team to stay.Singapore hotel rooms are relatively small, this hotel is decorated in the retro style of the railway station, like the green floor, the smell in the air is very fresh, and the room view is good.

The hotel's standard check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 12pm. If you are arriving past midnight on May 17, you will need to book a night from the 16-17 May. Standard check-out time at 12pm will be applicable but you may wish to consider paying for an additional half a day room charge for a later check-out until 6pm (subject to availability).
