Celebrated my friend's birthday at Kintamani restaurant on 26th March. I love the Furama sincere and authentic service. I l booked for a big group at the last minute and the F & B manager Fandi was very accommodating and arranged a nice corner for us. The food was delicious and well presented. Though it might seem limited in selection, I find the dishes and deserts exceptional. For me, quality is more important than quantity and kids really love the yellow rice and chicken sharwma. Thank you to everyone at Kintamani for arranging the surprise birthday cheer and cake. It was a great dinner for all of us.

Room are only painted to be new. Whole hotel still looks old. No longer have executive lounge access like before. No more The Square Restaurant All dining at the Kintamani restaurant Bed stated King Size but still looks like queen size

This is not a decent luxury hotel as described .We stayed for 3 nights using a travel agent so tied into the stay. The reception lobby of this hotel is extremely modern. The rooms are basic, not clean and airless. On arrival our room smelt of stale air and we did not unpack as the wardrobe smelt stale. The pool area is fine , tired looking but serves a purpose. What was disappointing was the breakfast offer , quality of food and the environment. The breakfast room was in the basement of the hotel and dingy. This hotel was over-priced, not close to transport links and I am being generous giving it 2 stars. Unfortunately the travel agent did nothing to support us except look into our feedback - we won’t be using them again. Otherwise Singapore is a fantastic place to visit - diverse and fun and we thoroughly enjoyed and can’t recommend enough the W Hotel on Sentosa Beach! It’s a real gem. …

I've stayed at Furama Riverfront off and on since 2007. It was always a reasonable hotel a bit dated but comfortable and adequate. With a good buffet resturant "The Square" I'm now back for a few days. The place was upgraded during Covid. I use the term "upgrade" loosely as whomever planned this decided on funky modern. Totally out of sync with the original building design. The colours are bright and harsh. Room lighting very stark with room almost devoid of furniture. There's no drawers nowhere to store clothes unless you hang them all. And a complete disparity between the bathroom which is original - and the room. Worse though "The Square" has been replaced by an indoor Indonesian style resturant. Well it meets the brief of being Indonesian in that its small, has no windows, looks rough unfinished and dirty. And food selection much less than before. Tables weren't cleaned promptly. I spoke to some flight crew there and they had same comments - a backward step. Do I recommend this hotel? Not now.…

We really enjoyed our stay in Furama Riverfront. They answers all my inquiries via email in a timely manner and the check-in/out process is hassle free. We are very thankful becuase they allow us to stay on a family room even if we have 5pax (4adults and 1 child). We got 2 rooms from them, family room and standard room (we are group of 6pax). We were happy bec. They upgraded both roomsto a more bigger and spacious room. The rokms are clean, the bed mattres is comportable and the aircon are in good condition. We stayed there for 6d/5n and we did not encounter any problems. They also have free bottled water, tea, coffee. Kudos to all staffs. The location is also perfect, theres a bus station and mrt station near the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will go back if we visit Singapore again. …

We are a young couple with an 8 month old son, after reading mixed reviews decided to book with Furama riverfront with low expectations, but mainly for the price. The hotel itself is nice and our room was a good decent size with a good view of the city and pool, the location was close to the MRT. The staff were really friendly and accommodating with a good porta cot for our son. We were told rooms would be cleaned every 3rd day and made a conscious effort to take out our rubbish each day. After reading poor reviews on breakfast, we gave it a try and was filled with instant regret ( in a dark dungeon area in the hotel) food was gluggy, fried and not appetising or appealing, just felt sick after eating it $50 a day! on this sort of breakfast is overpriced. I feel sorry for the people who have paid for this before hand. DONT DO IT. Something that would make this hotel AMAZING would be an upgrade on breakfast quality, it was a nuisance having to spend money each day eating out and would have preferred to have had that convenience of eating a well-balanced breakfast to feel good for our day, especially with a 8-month-old. make your breakfast spot the main foyer where the abience is bright and appealing - get fresh fruits, and good quality coffee and a good chef! Alot of our money went to the seven eleven inside the hotel as well as a starbucks coffee machine. Thankfully nearby a 10 min walk by the riverside their are lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. …
