Fairmont Singapore stands out for its central location, which guests have called out for its convenience to shopping, dining, and the MRT. Hotel's Favourite
10 out of 5 stars. Having just checked out after birthday celebrations and staying for the first time since the premises was rebranded as Fairmont, I can say that the service and extra touches shown throughout are out of the world. From the complimentary decorations in the room, to the affording of an early check in. Through to fast response time (5 mins or less?) for a third rollaway bed. Room was well appointed and well maintained. Staff were pleasant, attentive, eager to assist that made me and my family already start thinking and planning for our next stay. I'm indeed well and truly pleased to both being an Accor plus member as well as having stayed at the establishment. Thanks to all at Fairmont for making the stay one that is hard to beat anywhere else.

Our stay at the Fairmont Singapore was a true 5 star luxury experience. Upon entering the hotel, you are warmly greeted by professional butlers dressed in top hats and tail coats, the check in and out process was efficient and pleasant. Upon entering the room, the curtains opened automatically revealing a spectacular view of the Marina Bay area. We were lucky enough to have the best seats in the house to watch the New Year's Eve 1.5 hour fireworks and light show in the comfort of our room which was an unforgettable experience.
Our Deluxe King Room was very spacious and comfortably fit all our luggage (3 big suitcases, a big pram bag and 4 hand luggage- 8 pieces in total). It had so many thoughtful and intelligent features designed with guests in mind such as discreet sensor lights that lit up below eye level so your eyes can adjust if you get out of bed and you're not fumbling in the dark for a light the light system could be selected to relax mode so as to not disturb little ones sleeping but providing enough light for adults and the day curtains to provide some privacy but still enjoying natural light. My favourite feature in the room was the filtered water tap for cold or hot water which alleviated the need for plastic bottles so super environmentally friendly and we could refill as much as necessary. The baths and showers (both rainshower and hand held shower) were perfect and amenities were of high quality.
In terms of location and food, the hotel connects to a mall and MRT and is within 5-10 mins drive from fine dining restaurants in the city such as Cheek and Cloudstreet). Within the hotel, we frequented Preggo Italian Restaurant which had delicious food catering for various dietary requirements and a daily international buffet breakfast, a la cart lunch and dinner. We also enjoyed a special breakfast on New Years Day at the wonderful banquet room in the hotel which had a jumping castle for kids and animal rides and a seafood dinner at Clove- the service was warm and attentive.
The pool and gym were nice to enjoy too, the only desirable about the pool would be to open a bit later than 10pm and have paddle boards available for little ones.
Every element of the Fairmont Singapore was outstanding, the thoughtful and helpful staff providing exceptional service all made for the perfect family luxury holiday. We are very grateful for everything and can't wait to come back!

This was an absolutely beautiful hotel I cannot say anything bad about it it was beyond expectation.
It is perfectly situated at city hall metro station. It was so easy to get to from the airport jump on a train to City Hall come out of the train station and the hotel is right there it cost less than £1.50.
The entrance was beautiful red carpet to set out and the staff treated you as you were royalty
We had upgraded to the suite and could not stop smiling during our stay.
Complimentary slippers and bathrobes shampoo body lotion toothbrushes shower caps and an Espresso machine
There was a water machine
A balcony overlooks Raffles which is also a place you must go.
The pool was beautiful opened from 6:30 am when we swam in the dark watching the sunrise
When booking the breakfast seemed expensive at about £20 but when we were there it was worth every penny and I would pay it again. Unfortunately we did not get to eat in the restaurant by the pool which was closed but the main restaurant was beyond expectation having every nationalities variation of food as a buffet
We are just planning to return and would not consider any other hotel as no other hotel could be better than this one

We stayed for 2 nights in a King suite.
Some pros: The room was renovated and huge. All the room controls were high tech and user friendly - the only negaitve is that in order to turn on the closet area lighting (which is by the entrance and quite dark) you must first turn on the Master switch which then turns on all the lights in the room. Built in water dispenser for cold and hot water very convenient and eco-friendly. The hotel is in a very convenient location above Raffles City Mall and walking distance to many places: Esplanade, Suntec, museums, Capital Piazza, St. Andrew's Cathedral, Funan Mall, Raffles Hotel and Chimes. The MRT is right below to venture further.
Staff were very friendly, especially the gentlemen in top hats manning both hotel entrances. Gym was well equipped. Nice breakfast spread.
Some cons: There is not enough storage space in the closet area especially since one drawer is taken up by the inroom safe. The bathroom is huge and could do with a bench as well as a clothes drying cord in the shower for swimsuits, etc. There is nowhere to hang up wet items. The pool isn't very big given it is shared with Swisshotel and 2 swimming lanes are cordoned off in the middle leaving only small areas on either side for everyone else. If you want to swim/lounge by the pool this might not be a good option for you. If you want a convenient base to head out and explore then this hotel is is perfect.
We had a great staycation and are glad we stayed at the Fairmont.

We recently stayed at the Fairmont and booked last minute. We had troubles using the new Accor app but managed to book easily through Agoda.
Staff were very welcoming and kind, even offering a flower and chocolates for our wedding anniversary- Thankyou. All staff we spoke with were helpful and friendly.
The room was a great size and easily fit our family of 4. Unfortunately the aircon in the room was sub-standard and made it difficult to sleep. The thermostat went down to 20 degrees on the monitor but it certainly felt a lot warmer than that. We came from another Singapore hotel that had a lot cooler rooms. The towels were also small and we prefer larger towels in a 5 star property. Amenities in the room were excellent and Nespresso machine was appreciated. It was also great to have some chairs in the room to relax in during the day.
Location is excellent and it’s quick and easy to get to the major sites of Singapore. The adjoining shopping mall is also handy especially when travelling with kids.
The pool was fun and the kids enjoyed it.
If returning to Singapore we would stay again (but must be guaranteed room with better aircon!).
Thanks Fairmont!

Check in was a breeze and although I was asked if I had completed my pre arrival registration, I said no. It was only later after I have settled in my room when I received an email on it.
The 45 sq m room is spacious with a lot of seating places, even a day bed. No bathtub but it had a rain shower and temperature is preset at 38 deg C.
Window is floor to ceiling and a little balcony outside. We faced the city but it was fine. In fact, the 2 nights we were there, it was hazy and we had to keep the window shut tight.
I like the writing table and there were power points at the side. I wish there were more USB slots for charging though.
The minibar has been cleared out and even writing pads are missing. There is a QR code which we can use to request for cleaning up of room (upon request only), in room dining or booking of swimming pool or gym.
Daily breakfast could be preordered as well.
There was a coffee making machine with a few capsules and 4 TWG English Breakfast tea sachets. Amenities in the bathroom was sufficient and shampoo and shower gel were rose scented.
What I like were the bedroom slippers. They had Fairmont embroidered on them so they looked luxurious. There was a care pack with 2 masks, wipes and hand sanitizer in a gingham drawstring bag, something different from the usual plastic zipper bag.
We only had complimentary breakfast for one night but the package came with $100 dining credits and we were able to order in room dining for both dinner and breakfast. Food was very expensive but kid's menu is quite sufficient. The normal portions were too big for me. Anyway, the hotel is in a shopping mall and there are many food places one can eat at without exiting the building.
Visiting nearby malls is also not an issue as there is a City link mall from the City Hall MRT Station to Marina Square and Suntec. We visited Gardens by the Bay by taking a bus from a bus stop outside Raffles Hotel which is across the road from Fairmont.
Check out was more convenient with express check out. Fill in a slip and drop the keys in a box.

We stayed between 3 Dec - 5 Dec 2020. The counter staff and reservation team were very friendly. Prior to trip departure, we emailed the reservation team for 2 double beds and high floor and our requests were all fulfilled. We also requested for marina bay / pool view however was informed that there is only city view for 2 double beds.
Check in was fuss free with contactless mobile check in sent via email the day before. On the day of check in, it was mainly just for keys collection. We were given the fairmont double bed room 2514 ( highest is 26th) and managed to check in at 2pm on a Thursday. The room is really spacious and the view is good. However, the air con is not cold enough during a sunny day.
Noted that breakfast at prego is only limited to 45 mins, hence we opted for in room breakfast. We just dialed the in room dining service' number that morning. It took around 45mins to 1 hr for the food to be delivered. They missed out the bread though, but quickly redelivered after we told them.
$100 dining credit was easy to use. Just dine at the fairmont restaurant and tell the cashier your room number and charge to your room.
Check out was also fuss free via the mobile check out. They will send you the link on the day before check out which you can check your tax invoice and subsequently make all necessary bill payment using the credit card info you gave them during check in. After that, just deposit the room cards at the check out box at the lobby.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for family!

From the time we checked in we were made to feel welcome. We were met in the check in area by a young man who kept us entertained while waiting for check-in. Check in was very smooth and included a lovely presentation of chocolates for my wife. Our room was large with all the expected facilities of a luxury hotel. Just about everything, including the curtains, were controlled from an control panel next to the bed. I suggest you ask for the person who takes you to your room to show you how everything works when they bring your luggage to your room.
We had dinner in their Prego Restaurant, and breakfast by the pool on the 8th floor. Both were very nice.
The location is excellent, and it is very easy to get to from the airport. We bought MRT tourist passes at the airport and took the MRT to City Place. The hotel is well signposted from the station entrance inside the City Place building.
One small point. Be aware that if you are taking drinks from the fridge or nuts/chips/chocolates from the mini bar, once you move the product it is charged to your room automatically, even if you just pick it up and put it back.
I recommend this hotel anyone travelling to Singapore.

First time in Singapore, stayed at the Fairmont because of location and familiarity with the brand. Didn’t realize from other reviews that there was a difference between the renovations of the South Tower vs the older North Tower. The main Fairmont reservation line should take note of that. We stayed at older North Tower. Overall the room was a great size for three smaller size adults - beds are not true queen size so might be tough for some. Also didn’t have water dispenser as noted in other reviews although we did get bottled water daily, and the water is potable so you can brush your teeth with no worry. Nice view of Raffles Hotel. Great location with nice mall underneath and subway close by. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in (we were early from a North America flight) but the hospitality suite was helpful so we could shower after a long flight and chill until the room was ready. Didn’t eat at restaurants on site. Didn’t use the pool but did look shared with hotel next door. We didn’t hear construction sounds and room was quiet enough to sleep comfortably. Grocery store in mall to buy snacks and drinks including alcohol. Walkable to Chjimes and Gluttons Bay; subway is great way to go to Chinatown and other tourist attractions. Not too far from airport. Would definitely stay here again but will ask for South Tower next time.

Really well appointed room with impressive smart features. Love the attention to detail. The design and materials of everything from the dark paneled/ herringbone fabric walls to the furnishings and bathroom are tasteful and classy. The smart features controlled by panels around the room draw and close the curtains, allow you to switch between “work” and softer lighting. Charging ports and panels are placed thoughtfully around the room. Motion sensors accurately sense when you get off the bed and head to the bathroom when it is dark. Oh and when I first arrived, the curtains drew themselves and revealed the fantastic view!
I’m really tall, so the deep and long bathtub was a rare treat for me.
Apart from all that, the staff are great, called in every few days to check on me, brought everything I ordered for delivery promptly.
Will definitely come consider coming back with family next time I’m back in Singapore.

Apart from all that, the staff are great, called in every few days to check on me, brought everything I ordered for delivery promptly.
Will definitely come consider coming back with family next time I’m back in Singapore.

Hi Alvin, unfortunately I can’t make a comparison between Swissotel and the Fairmont but what I can tell you is that the Fairmont’s Executive Lounge is very luxurious, very spacious and the food and alcohol is varied and plentiful and of exceptional quality. It is by far the best executive lounge I have ever stayed in. My husband and I stayed there in March this year for our 40th wedding anniversary and the staff were exceptional. We also felt it was excellent value for money by staying in the Executive Lounge. I hope I have answered your question and enjoy your stay at this beautiful hotel

You can do it but if the foods and milk turn bad, the hotel is not responsible as the minibar's temp is set to keep the items good and well
