This has been one of the best hotel stays I've had. The people who work at Ritz is what makes this place special, making you feel comfortable and welcomed wherever you go. Room is as you would expect, spacious, beautiful interior and amazing bathtub with view to relax at the end of your day. Would highly recommend and would love to come back when I visit Singapore again
Just when I thought it couldn’t get better… Beyond being engulfed in complete luxury with all the usual amenities of a six-star hotel, the service quality was absolutely over the top! The General Manager, Peter Mainguy arranged for me to have my favorite Marina Bay room with gorgeous views of the harbor. A big thanks for accommodating my special request. However, even more impressive was the service quality from the staff. Noticing that I was using a pillow support for my neck, the thoughtful evening Butler had arranged for me to have a complimentary neck support memory foam pillow without my even asking. This amazing attention to detail and the customers individual personal needs is really what sets the Ritz Carlton apart from other leading hotels. Another key advantage for Ritz, is that they have a PCR clinic right next door. Very convenient for travelers who need an immediate PCR test before departure. Overall, one of the most consistently best rated across all categories. I’ve stayed at the hotel over 18 years and they never fail to impress. Having said ALL that, I WOULD prefer to see Ritz Carlton Milennia be able to allow #Bonvoy Members to earn points / nights for their stay. I have been to Colony Restaurant for a few times. I love the selection of food and ambience. My recent visit would be the BEST EXPERIENCE! We are assisted by Ms. Tin and we had an awesome dining experience from the start of our Lunch until we leave. The restaurant was busy and full so I thought that the service will it a bit down. Ms. Tin came to our table explained the buffet set up and the “must try” on each station. She checks on us very promptly. All throughout our dining experience we feel like we in a FINE DINING RESTAURANT!⭐️. The napkins are changed once soiled, cutleries are changed and we don’t need to ask anything as she offers everything before we ask it. She is really a new found Gem in Colony. You cant judge a book by its cover. Been to so many hotels in SG but always ignore Ritz Carlton bcoz the exterior looks so plain and old. But since its last min we just try it. Ohhh My. It really shock us. Inside is nice. The room view amazing. The food is so good. The staffs all great. Special thanks to Yu Tan from the receptionist for giving us a very nice room with great view and for also writing us a lovely letter w/ chocolates. To Kola Sandeep his very helpful in attending to all our room needs. To the 2 filipinos in the pool who help attending to my kids needs and serving the foods quick. We didnt expect to have a great time here but we did. bcoz of the good staff this hotel have that keeps the hotel looking great and making sure the guest enjoyed their stay.
Best of The BEST buffet in town. A must to visit at least once! Value for money for very Fresh, Quality & Delectable spread of buffet. 2nd visit within 3 weeks, Fri & Sat Seafood dinner (menu may differ slightly depending on weekday or weekend spread. Go for the weekend session though it will be a wee bit more expensive but totally worth it). Recommend seafood first, beef dish of the night, other meat & veggies selections and lastly dessert in that order. Menu-8 pages so must strategize choice of food because I can never ever finish trying all even if I have a piece from each dish. Service was excellent throughout. Let me start with Ms Loges who showed us to our seats. Very welcoming with a great smile. I felt like I had 2 personal servers (Mr. Abishek and Mr. Rahul). They were so attentive without being intrusive. Mr. Abishek was super observant. He noticed I was struggling to get a wet tissue out of my small purse and immediately brought over wet wipes & serviettes (wow!). Our plates were cleared as soon as we were done (impressed as I like my plate cleared asap). Even management staff, Mr. Rethish and Mr. Alfian came by to engage with us and offered selections to try. Chef Ye Siong was helpful & accommodating to my request at the sashimi counter. Even Chef Benton came by to say hello because I last met him 3 weeks ago. Colony has the most extensive Quality selections in their buffet in town compared to the other hotels. Most importantly, it is the Service Excellence that enhance an awesome dining experience that finds me coming back time and again. The fact that their Management staff (not 1 but 3) popped by last night to engage guests is something I hardly find in the other establishments. They are so successful because the Management leads by examples! Highly recommended but be warned, you need to make reservations at least 2 to 3 months ahead. It’s my third time staying with RZ Singapore. Every time we are being well taken care by the Guest Relations team & the Front Desk especially Ms. Dora & Ms. Katie who are awesome 💜 Can’t wait to go back again 🫶🏻 highly recommended RZ no matter for staycations or overseas travels.
We had the most wonderful stay. Everything was perfect, from the arrival check in, room, staff, and the amazing offering at breakfast. Dickson Soon and Carolyn from the VIP guest services team went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after in every way. Make sure you go hungry to breakfast as the options are endless and fantastic. A truly delightful stay.
My wife and I recently stayed at The Ritz in Singapore a few days prior to a cruise departure, and we had a phenomenal experience at that hotel. It is a spacious, ultramodern, clean and inviting hotel in walking distance to the sites, including the Mall and Gardens in the Marina Bay Area. The hotel also has its own beautiful modern sculptural art collection. We arrived earlier than the usual checkin time after nearly a full travel day from Miami, and we wanted to start exploring Singapore as quickly as possible after a shower and settling in. The efficient and friendly check-in staff was top-notch, providing without delay a spacious, sleek room facing the gorgeous Marina Bay. The staff at the hotel is top notch! The concierge is knowledgeable, the wait staff is excellent in the restaurant, and the cleaning staff and turn-down service is outstanding. The lobby and facilities are excellent, including a large fitness gym which is well outfitted with modern machinery for aerobics and weight training. The breakfast buffets are a multi-room fantastic array of extraordinary delectables from all over Asia as well as typical western favorites. On our first visit to the restaurant the morning of our second day, we asked one of the waitresses, Lee Lee, if she might find for us a particular dim sum sesame favorite of ours, and she mentioned there weren't any that day ( although plenty other dim sum choices were available). She asked for our room number before we left the restaurant, and to our surprise that evening, there was a housekeeping room service delivery of not only some tasty choices of sesame dim sum delights, but also a platter of homemade candy treats from Lee Lee, Liu Hui, and Han Lan with a hand-written greeting card! Now that's service!! Additional shout-outs for outstanding service go to Dexter and Lina of the lobby staff, who both greatly assisted us on our return visit to Singapore following our cruise-- they arranged for pickup at the cruise port and luggage storage for the day so we could explore Singapore some more as we needed to wait for our late flight that day. We can't thank the Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore enough for our outstanding time didn't there.…
I brought my family of 5 for a short 3D2N Staycation in Oct 2022 before our year end trip to Bali, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai at luxurious Anantara properties. Sadly, even though I had pre-informed about our early check in request, there were no replies via emails. Due to the huge surge of check-ins, we were made to wait for our rooms by roaming the area and only managed to complete our check in procedures for the 2nd room at 5.30pm on Day 1 for our Kallang Rooms. Since they insisted on not participating in Bonvoy, we didnt get any room upgrades nor breakfast even though we are Platinium Elites. Our card keys were also not working when we tried at the door and we have to wait for another 45mins for the front desk to bring up newly coded card keys. We spent that 45mins waiting at the corridor like a bunch of homeless people and when the concierge arrived, there was no remorse nor any service recovery. Due to this incompetence, I was late for my business meeting with local politicians at the nearby venue. Both of our rooms are very old and dated. Floor boards creaked and buckled when we walk over them and some areas were purposly covered by the carpet to hide the prevailing defects. Turn downs during the evenings were messy and inconsistent in standards. Comments raised through the Bonvoy app were not responded even for our requests for late check-out on Day 3. Yet again, Elites have no special treatment as they are non-believers of Bonvoy. The pool area was also very old with stained flooring near the deck chairs. Only the tiles of the swimming pool were recently done up 2 years before the pandemic. Cold water was not served to guests immediately when we found our deck chairs as other 5 star properties. Used towels were left on chairs and not cleaned up once other guests have left the pool. Sadly, with the current boom in overseas tourists arriving to Singapore, Ritz Millenia had decided in not preserving the loyalty of local customers like ourselves even though we had stayed there previously as short staycations. Now, it just seems that local Elites also do not see any further value in staying at Ritz Millienia as there are better service provided by luxurious properties even at other Ritz worldwide. Also, the hotel owner Pontiac Group should start to think about renovations as many guests have already seen it as just an old hotel with empty promises. For us, we promised to disown Ritz Millenia and never to return again. It has fallen from grace and past its prime.…
Wonderful stay. Pleasant & lovely staff at all areas of operation. The Room Aircon thermostat could be better. Quicker operation for temperature adjustments, option for soft/hard pillows Sadly wasn’t able to swim due to the weather. Exceptional service from the front-line team to retrieve lost/found items.
