We had a club style room on the 15th floor, view was slightly obscured and we were kept awake as the room was directly beside the main lift shafts. The room was changed very quickly and hotel staff moved our kit to a similar room...More
Very nice hotel. Little bit dated in parts and some of bedrooms could do with being decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location . Shops close by and also good bus route. Little expensive in places.
We stayed at the Orchard for a 2 night stopover in Singapore. Centrally located at the start of Orchard Ave, it is a beautiful and well appointed hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The gym and pool area are lovely. It was an easy walk...More
Overall, very friendly staff, knowledgeable, room is clean and well presented but a bit old and good service at the morning buffet. Orchard hotel is closer to major shopping malls and restaurants. We will visit Orchard Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone want...More
Very decent hotel with good supportive staffs. Breakfast spread is excellent. On business trip and found that the hotel is well situated and near many malls and food courts to try and see the best street foods in Singapore
Shopping is a national pastime for Singaporeans, and after a visit to Orchard Road it’s easy to see why. This seemingly endless boulevard boasts a dizzying selection of shopping centres. From bargain basement foragers to designer label big-spenders, there is something for everyone. For those just browsing, there are countless restaurants, food courts, and cinemas, as well as the odd street entertainer to keep you
amused. Most of the malls are connected by underground walkways, offering a break from the sun on a hot day. Bring a credit card and some comfortable shoes, and plunge into the excitement.

Not that I recall. I never used hotel shuttles because Sentosa is fairly easy to get to.. walk 10min down to Orchard MRT. catch it to Dhoby Gaut then switch to the purple line (to Harbourfront). Get off there and walk through VivoCity and over the boardwalk (about 500m). Follow the boardwalk past the trick art museum , hang a left and Universal will be in front of you.

Thank you for your enquiry. Please informed that our usual check out time is 12.00noon and check in time is 2.00pm. Early check is, such as yours will subject to room availability and an early check in surcharge. Generally, guests with 06.00hr ETA into Singapore are recommended to pre-book your room i.e. from the night before, at an additional one night charge. This will secure your room for an early arrival. Otherwise, if you are required to wait for your room, the Concierge Team will be happy to stow your luggage till your room is ready. And you freshen up in the communal Hospitality Room.
I trust the above information will suffice.
