This is a great value hotel for a trip in Singapore. Extremely well situated with easy access to main stations and bus. It is lined with lots of convenient meal options. Breakfast is okay but it's limited for our taste. Not a big deal as there are so many food options everywhere in Singapore. The hotel staffs are all warm and friendly, very helpful and gave us guidance and suggestions on where to go in Singapore. We stayed until they closed so it is such a pity. Sincerely hope the hotel is open when we return to Singapore in future.

Stayed along with my family in May 2022.The check-in was smooth & breezy.Thank you to Mr.Yap & Ms.Jona for the hassle free check-in experience. The room allocated to us was so spacious, bright, super clean with all the sets of amenities. Many thanks to housekeeping staffs for keeping our room clean throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet spread and the service at the Albert Cafe restaurant was excellent. The check-out process was fast too as same as check-in. Special thanks to Mr.Jamal for performing coin magic to my daughter which she liked it & enjoyed a lot. Kudos to each and every staff member of the hotel for their impeccable service. Overall, it was a heavenly stay & we will recommend this hotel to our relatives & friends. We can't wait to come back to this beautiful hotel for more staycation. Cheers! Sham

A really disappointing experience and I think people need to think twice before going for this property at Albert court where I had a really bad experience. We had done a booking in advance at this property and paid for the same and when we reach the property pretty tired ,for the check in,a very indifferent and rude receptionist at the check in counter tells us that our bookings have been cancelled by our agent to which we were shocked cause firstly we hadnt even done our bookings through an agent but through a very well known site and this was the first time we faced such a problem inspite of travelling all over the world ,very random ,this lady by the name puinita or something of the likes doesn’t let us checkin so we call the site from which we had made the bookings ,and when she saw us calling them and this was after making us wait for fifteen minutes denying checkin with all our luggage and a child with us ,she suddenly calls us and tells us that she can let us checkin and some random reasoning which didn’t make sense to us since we had already spoken to the customer care of the site we had booked through and they clearly told us that the booking was still there and there had been no cancellation .Pretty weird but true ,so in this hotel be prepared for very bad and out of the blue experiences like this where the Receptionist can trouble you for the heck of it ,very uncalled for and very bad experience and wouldn’t recommend anyone this hotel .If a receptionist can randomly trouble the guests like this ,I don’t think any of us would want to take a risk like this and have an experience like this.very uncalled for and very disappointing .

As a traveller who avoids towering high rise hotels it’s always a joy for me to find nostalgic boutique hotels. Village Hotel Albert Court tops this list for Singapore stays! Strategically situated (and affordable) and within walking distance from the bustle of street markets and Bugis Junction. For an older female traveller the atmosphere feels safe and cosy and best of all quiet. The staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful. Special thanks this time to John on reception for the warm welcome and gentle sense of humour. It’s always nice to strike a genuinely polite and funny people person! Five stars from me!

After checking in the guy at reception Pointed me towards the escalator and me to carry my luggage on it in order to get to the lifts. Even though in most places it's prohibited to carry luggages and prams on the escalator. However this guy never told me that there was lift on the other side, until next morning I find out myself. Oh also no one even bothered to show me my room. Mind you I checked in at 01:30am. On top of that first 3 nights I had to deal with smell of the mould in my room, crying and screaming kinda along with their parents and pound noise of traffic and construction. I barely slept!! After complaining it twice one of the manager was nice enough to change my room to upper floor with less disturbance. But to be honest rest of the staff needs training, behavioural lessons and be nice to the customers. I don't think I'll ever stay in this place again. Btw they don't provide drinking water in the room. So you have to use the tap water unless you buy some for yourself. I don't think it's worth paying so much money and there's so many issues with the stay. Even though I only stayed 6-10 SEP I paid for 5-10. And it was such a terrible experience with the stay and staff.

The location was good near MRT, Little India and Buggies but rooms were old. There was bad odor in the room corridor. Very limited vegiterian options. No luggage assistance to be kept for few days after checkout. The furniture was old.

Travel restrictions etc led to no Singapore holiday for three years. My go to hotel in Singapore is Albert Court hotel in little India. I love the position and the family style atmosphere. Syed and his staff always make me feel at home, nothing is too much trouble for them. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, staff were very polite and helpful. Room was clean and well equipped. The bathroom was tired and really in need of a new shower at least, but it served its purpose. House keeping was spot on and the room attendant Azz, was always cheerful and friendly. Breakfast wasn't brilliant. Much was of a poor quality and not quite what we fancied (chips, pasta, fried spam slices and a range of Indian / Asian dishes). The eggs however, were cooked to order and delicious, plus there was toast, fruit, tea and coffee, so didn't go hungry. Location was good, it was 20 minutes walk to Suntec for the Big Bus tickets and night tour, and there was a handy pick up spot for the bus across the road from the hotel in Little India. The walk to Suntec took you through the market and street food area, we enjoyed that.
