A nice quiet hotel just a walk away from the bustling area of Chinatown. Beautiful interior design, however its pretty small- cozy I say. Booked a porch room, nice view of the sky considering its around city area, well unless its not raining.

Hello Ibn Z, Thank you for taking time to tell us how your stay was. We are glad you liked the interior design. Given that we are in a conservation area, it is unlikely there would be any high rise building near us so the view of the sky is here to stay! Have a good week ahead!

Coming back again after a year from my last stay.. Things has not changed, however, now the hotel stop their prepackage breakfast set, i have no idea why, thought that the prepackage breakfast set is quite good. TV channel selection also has been reduced, but wifi is going strong. Hotel is walking distance to many highly regarded restaurants in Singapore,...

Hello D_Kailua, It is good to have you back too! Yes, there were not major changes except for the reception counter moving nearer to the entrance. We are in discussions to start something different in the space that the reception counter formerly occupied. I hope we can give you a pleasant surprise the next time you come. Not all our...

It really has taxed some smart interior designer architect's expertise to convert the row of low-lying prewar link houses in the bygone opium-smoking colonial Singapore's classy red light street into something pink and something truly artistic urban lodgings! Units at the far end down the long narrow carpeted lane on L2 come with the special cosy little hideaway floral roof...

Hello Henry T, The first line definitely took my breath away (literally!) without the punctuation to break up the sentence. Nonetheless, it is well written like an author of a book or blog I must say. There are plenty of stories about this neighbourhood. Naumi Liora has its story of its own too. This would be a story for another...

Booked a porch room, got a stay 3 pay 2 deal which made it ok for what you got. The room itself was comfortable enough but had this weird faint smell of stale oil fryer. Room could do with a lift (stained grout, peeling cupboard lining, fraying blinds) and the linen though clean had some small rips and the towel...

Hello Amanda W, Thank you for spending some time to let us know how your stay went. I believe the smell was from the exhaust of the restaurant. It may have gone into the room through the porch. However, thank you for bringing this up. We will look into this. We have a regular maintenance program and are also changing...

Ideal for a short stay when you are not too fussy about amenities and typical touristy accoutrements. I booked their closet-sized single-bed room via Airbnb, and it turned out to be fairly comfortable, inspite of the confined space. It had almost all the amenities of a mid-range budget hotel, including safety vault and mini-bar. Recommended for short stays, especially if...

Hello ParthoChoudhury, Thank you for your kind feedback. We do have other room categories which I believe you would like them should you return for your next stay. However, I am glad our Quaint Single room worked for you during your stay. There is a Chinese idiom (direct translation) - a sparrow may be small but all the vital organs...

This hotel is in a charming shophouse in Chinatown. Due to that, the rooms are not spacious and noise can be an issue. But the rooms are cool and aesthetically pleasing. I stayed at the Naumi Liora in April 2016 with some friends and we all enjoyed our stay there. We hung out in the lobby and enjoyed the snacks...

Hello P D, We hear you loud and clear. The lobby furniture was cleared out and we moved the current reception counter nearer to the entrance. Operationally and from a service standpoint, it made more sense for the counter to be nearer to the entrance. We want to create a different experience for our guests by using the space that...

Simple, clean and comfortable accommodation and very helpful and friendly staff, couldn't fault anything. Naumi Liora is very close to the Singapore MRT station and only 250 metres from markets and hawkers market for great food. Have recommended to family and friends and will stay again.

Stayed here for 2 nights over weekend. Nice comfortable bed and pillows. I am happy with the room as it's really spacious (heritage double). Location is good as it's near to Chinatown which lots of food and nearby to train station (outram park & chinatown). just a few minutes walk. Hotel staff service is good. It was a hot day...

Hello Quah Y, Thank you for sharing your experience. Naumi Liora is who we mix with - a street full of life and colour when it turns dark. In the morning, a quiet street basks in the morning sun and then you get scurrying office workers queuing for lunch at the local eateries in the afternoon. What I meant is...

The inside (rooms) is not so exciting as it might appear if you look at the wonderfully renovated outside front of the hotel. Some rooms do not have windows, the ones which have are extremely small. Stayed here for a couple of nights just before Christmas 2016. I liked it and would stay again in a heartbeat. Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
