Overall the stay was good. Staff were friendly enough. Rooms were comfortable. I found the location not too bad. Train station semi close by so easy to get around. Washer and dryer available which is helpful. Food court directly downstairs on the corner had some pretty good food. Thanks for a nice stay.

Pros Locations near to Lavender MRT and Bendemeer MRT Stations. Near to Food Court (besides the hostel, across hostel) few of cute cafes next to the hostel, Seven Eleven and local minimart next to the hostel, Supermarket called Fair Price less than 1 km walk straight from the hostel. Mustafa Center and City Square mall by foot. Our flight was at 10PM. We are allowed to leave our luggages at the hostel. and by the time we come back from our last sight seeing, they allow us to take a shower before leaving to the airport. Cons No Elevator. Can be a bit difficult for someone who bring lots of luggages.

From Lavender MRT station, take Exit B. Once exit from escalators, take a right turn. Cross through 2 buildings via pedestrian crossings, go around Fair Trade and walk straight. The hostel is located at the end of the road on the right. Room was airy, beds and linens were clean. Air-conditioning works great, wifi speed was marvelous! Had trouble sleeping on the second night (Saturday night) as our room window was facing the main road which had a pub. Music blasted until midnight. But other than that, all was fine. Do remember to bring along rubber slippers to go to the shared bathroom as water from the shower flows to the toilet cubicles.

We stayed at Pine Hostel from August 27 to 29, 2017. Check-inn time is 12 noon, however, they were very nice to let us check-in at 8 am with no additional charges. there is a simple breakfast every morning and during our last day, they let us leave our things in the hostel after check put so that we can still go around the city. we just went back to the hostel to get our things and head to the airport thru MRT. The hostel is just a few blocks away from Lavender MRT station. Thank You Pine Hostel :)

I love staying in this hostel. The staffs are very kind and helpful. The place is clean and lobby feels relaxe and I really love spending morning there having coffees or teas. They also have loads of magazines and books provided, makes me happier. The location is great, it's really easy to reach most of Singapore visit locations e.g Garden by the bay, botanic garden, marina bay, orchard roads. Better use buses than train because buses stations are nearer to the locations. Lastly, as it's supposed to be for every staying places today, the wifi works really good. In the room, in the lobby, I enjoy the wifi and it saves budget for google map route searchings. They also have some computer set in case you need it. As I writing my journey, the computer table the hostel provides and the lobby atmosphere help me thinking and working on my writing. So, it's cool for writers staying here if you need cheap inns. I think the room should improve to a bit modern look, but I personally don't need my inn room look fancy as long as it's clean and it was. Maybe providing one socket for each bed will be excellent improvement. I would recommend this hostel for cheap staying and its strategic location. Enjoy your holiday :).

Stayed in a female dorm whilst travelling for 7 days. Really clean and spacious bedroom with lockers and bunk beds. Shared single sex bathrooms and toilets were also kept very clean. Bedding is changed daily and you are given a small towel too. Staff were really helpful with excursion information and any other general queries. Hostel also offers discounts on some tours and attractions.

Exceptional experience. I stayed there 3 times. Very friendly staff. Karthik the all rounder helped me carry my luggage. The dorm was very clean. The beds comfortable with clean sheets. The towels could be better. The doors are locked at night. Very safe, secure. Had a great nights sleep. The breakfast is basic but hearty. Hot water ready for coffee. Kevin at front desk was most helpful. Definitely a great stay. Value for money.

I was curious to try a dormitory type of accommodation at Singapore so I booked at Pine for 1 night only. Even though we only booked for 1 night all I can say is that Pine didn't disappoint me. It was a superb short stay. The room is clean and quiet. Our dormates are very considerate for everyones privacy. Pine is very affordable and still offers, although simple, free breakfast.
