We arrived at Hang out at about 2100 after an unusually tiring flight Getting taxi drivers to take you to the hotel isn't hard, as long as you've at least got the address written down, or it's an easy walk up the hill from Little India MRT. Check in was completed quickly and without hassle, we also got upgraded to...

We stayed in a Private Room in the Hostel on 18 Oct. Although the room was very small without even a window, it was clean and with basic amenities. At 110 SGD, it was still a good bet in Singapore. We preferred to stay at this Hostel because it is located at a very plush neighborhood. Nearest Public transport is...

The hostel itself is nice. Large rooms. Very basic though. There was a damp smell in the hallways but I can live with that. Hostel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is on top of a big hill so you'll be trekking up to this place in the sweltering Singaporean heat. No fun! Also, I disagree with many...

On arrival I was upgraded to a larger room, which was nice. The room, however, did smell a bit damp, which is why I've given three stars rather than the four that I would have otherwise done. Apart from the slight smell, the room was fine. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hostel is well located for...

Fantastic hostel. Great value. Were disappointed we only chose to stay there one night. We would've enjoyed staying there longer. Whilst we only used it as a place to crash, it would have been a great place to spend more time in. It was ideal for backpackers as it had a lounge with comfy sofas, mountains of books, a pool...

I was staying in Singapore over Chinese New Year, and was worried about everything being booked up for the holidays, so I booked in advance and requested a private ensuite room with window for 5 days (they make it clear on their website that not all rooms have windows). Less than a week before my arrival, my plans changed slightly...

For a budget hotel I don't think you could ask for more! Helpful friendly staff, good sized room very comfortable with big bathroom, quiet location but close to little India and the train station. The breakfast was great lots of choice but not always clearly labeled for vegetarians, but again staff happy to help so no complaints! Would use again.

Having stayed here for three days with my girlfriend before flying onto Australia. Its advertised on there website ''no frills'' well this was the case. Upon arrival reception was busy with backpackers. Check in was fast and smooth. Our room was very small with no windows, the bathroom only allowed one person at a time to enter. The room smelled...

I stayed here for almost 2 weeks and it was great. This was my first visit to Singapore and I couldn't have found a better place to stay in for such a nominal price. I stayed in a 6 bedroom hostel, which was clean and comfortable. The staff here is really really friendly and very helpful. Its an excellent choice...
