We loved our stay at Hotel Mono- it's basic and no breakfast, but it was all we needed in Singapore and was very reasonably priced. Everything was clean and modern, room spacious enough. The location was good for us- just in Chinatown so maybe a...More
Excellent stay at Hotel Mono. Very conveniently located near the Chinatown MRT this boutique hotel ticks all the right boxes. Clean, spacious rooms. Very central to restaurants, bars, cafes, hawkers markets. Lovely amenities, free water, excellent rain shower.
Will definitely stay again.
Modern hotel at a great location. The street itself is not too busy, though there can be some noise from (garbage)trucks etc at night. This wasn't a problem for us, and it's probably not easy to find completely quiet hotels in nice and lively areas...More
Singapore is an expensive place to visit and we didn't stay very long as it was part of our transfer back home. But we stayed one night at this cute place in Chinatown using it as a base for us to drop our bags and...More

Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.

Hi. Cots are available free of charge. However we found the rooms smaller than usual and a cot makes the movable space even more cramped. This means that if you have luggage to store as well, it becomes quite uncomfortable... More
Hi. Cots are available free of charge. However we found the rooms smaller than usual and a cot makes the movable space even more cramped. This means that if you have luggage to store as well, it becomes quite uncomfortable to move around. So make sure you ask for the squire foot area of the relevant room since as stated on my original review the photos do make the rooms look bigger then they really are
Having said that Hotel Mono does have some good positives as well, its close to Chinatown and the MRT and is clean
Good luck with your choice. Best regards
