The hotel is new, as such the facilities are modern and fresh. I was surprised at the amount of rooms the management has managed to create in this old building. The room where I was staying had two small windows, which were overlooking the corridor- so no natural light in the room. This made me stay outside a lot. Nice...

Found this hotel through Instagram and was lucky enough to book while they were having a discount promotion. I think the hotel was new or newly renovated so everything looked perfectly neat. If you are a minimalist person who just love plain mono, this hotel is for you. The room is quite spacious, including the shower & toilet which came...

Stayed for a night. Location is quite central and easily accessible. Hotel is comfortable and stylish. I love the black and white theme of the hotel, which i think gives the hotel a simple but yet classy design. Hotel is clean and room is spacious. I love the way the clothes hangar is being designed. It is cleverly done such...

Not an enjoyable experience for me and friends. Family room at 3rd floor was small, expected to get the room shown in picture during booking but upon checking in, we were told that all the other rooms were fully booked. We got calls from reception at 8pm saying that we need to lower down our volume and this is by...

Great location on the edge of Chinatown and a minute from the MRT station. Rooms are compact but not too small and are modern and comfortable with all you need. Have stayed in several small boutique places around Chinatown and like most others, this one is great for a few days, though the price here was really good for a...

The hotel is very new and so the room was in a good clean condition. Modern and minimalist so not too many amenities. The air-conditioning is powerful so you will stay cool here. Location is excellent. It's right in the heart of Chinatown so it is close to a lot of different food options and close to other things to...

Small, fresh budget hotel, with fast check-in. Rooms are nice, clean and functional, though relatively small. Suits shorter stays, one or maximum two days, as room space is limited, and limited space for hanging clothes, and place suitcases, unless larger room category is chosen, which in such case may not anymore make it a budget choice. Well located in China...

We came as a couple in 2016. Decor was quite good and the staff are friendly. Location is great - near Chinatown and all its delicious food places, as well as near (<5mins walk) the Chinatown MRT. Amenities were sparse though. Most annoying thing was the hot water wouldn't work properly - after a few mins (like 5 or 6...

As the photos show you, this is extremely stylish accomdation that has all of the provisions expected of a comfortable hotel. It is in one of the top locations in Singapore within a few minutes' walk of excellent cafes, bars, food courts and restaurants of all sorts, as well as some tourist attractions. It is also around the corner from...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
