Stayed here for 3 nights. The location is good, in Chinatown. The room was adequate, rather sparse. How sleeping was impossible because it was so noisy. The bin lorry came at 3 am, the drunks outside kept going until late and it was possible to hear your neighbour using the hairdryer.

Hotel Mono 's single room has no view, but that's the only downside. Beautifully designed functional room with everything you need and a great bed. Almost no noise, and good blinds for sleep. Location in the heart of Chinatown in a character-filled shophouse street is great for foodies, and it's 2 minutes to MTR. The staff are exceptional - efficient, warm, thoughtful and offer excellent advice. When I said my aircon wasn't working a smiling man arrived within minutes and fixed it and set it exactly how I wanted it. And Clarice on the front desk is wonderful!

This hotel is very centrally-located right in Singapore's Chinatown, less than one block from the Chinatown MRT station. My room was small, but quiet and clean. The front desk staff was super helpful with recommendations and directions. Chinatown Food Street is just two or three blocks away. Maxwell Food Court is about a 7-minute walk. There are lots of interesting sights within walking distance, including Chinatown, and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum (yup, they've got one of Buddha's teeth there). Super easy to get from hotel to pretty much anywhere else in Singapore, due to clean, efficient MRT system (with maps and announcements in English).

Had a 19hr layover and decided to spend a night in a hotel. Used the MRT to get to Chinatown- takes 50 min but is easy and cheap to use. The hotel has a stylish design and is also kept very clean. I booked a large single room; bed was a very comfortable King Single, and the room was relatively spacious for one person. The Free WiFi was was fast and worked well, the room was well air conditioned too. Toiletries were provided (Razer, shaving foam, toothpaste & paste, body wash & shampoo) as well as slippers and a hairdryer. Plug sockets were universal adapter type which was very helpful. Tea / coffee making facilities are provided as well as a fridge and a safe. The hotel provided free bottle water too which was great. The service was excellent and very helpful throughout my

This hotel is a concrete industrial block with no welcoming features at all. The good points are that it is centrally located in Chinatown, the staff are friendly and helpful the bed is comfortable and it is clean. The room does have a tiny fridge and they provide 2 bottles of water daily. Anything else leaves much to be desired. It is by far the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in. Garbage trucks clanging at 3am outside the closed window most nights. You could hear every conversation in the street and in the hotel and every door that opened or closed on our floor and every wprd of the conversations of other guests as they came and went at all hours. We could even hear someone using the toilet upstairs. There is not a single painting, floor mat, cushion or comfy chair in the

The worst and dirtiest hotel staying experience in my 32 years lifetime. All photos posted at agoda.com are FAKE! Those photos are showing the building as a stylish boutique hotel with black n white unique design. The truth is: very dirty and smelly room, with bugs and ants on bed sheets, headboard, ceiling, bathroom, doorway, desk and everywhere in the room. Many dust and hairs on desk, shelf, safe box, and everywhere. The door is broken but there isnt any maintenance. We have booked the room for 3 nights and we have complained to the front desk staff at reception after the bad experience at first night. When we came back to the room on second day, there is no improvement and when we complaint again, the receptionst just said she would talk to the housekeeping but didnt show

The hotel is located in Chinatown and about a half hour walk to the Gardens by the Bay. The room was clean with a reasonable amount of room with two double beds. The room was on the interior of the building with a window that opened onto a central light well. Bottles of water were provided in a little fridge ad two power points were next to each bed. The bathroom was clean though small and the shower had two heads which provided a decent water pressure. We did run out of hot water one morning and had to wait a while for the water to heat up. Everyone on the front desk was helpful and we were able to leave our bags for the day when we checked out and there was a washroom available so we could get changed before going to the airport.
