Hotel Mono is a chic hideaway set in six historic shop houses of modern design. The rejuvenated buildings retain their original charm with characteristics air wells and Rococo-era windows, seamlessly interwoven with the culture of traditional Singapore and urban bustle of the city.
Very nice front desk staff The reception is pretty small Asked them if I can take a photo It’s all welcome Haven’t really have a chance to look at the interior but I believe it’s good value for money More photos @ig wtifwtif

Photo room online in booking.com give me feel the hotel is clean, modern and new but they’re use a virtual image which it’s not a real picture. Room is very small and old, a wall is scratched already but not even maintenance yet. Me willing to pay a room on 174 sgd for one night but the room should be better than this. Room is small and couldn’t set on this price. One more thing we need to tell that a receptionist is the most importance point to make the customer happy to stay in the hotel. Unluckily that we’re stay in other hotel in first two days but the last day we change to this hotel. First hotel, they’re hire a really nice receptionist and them give me in every point customer looking for when travelling and a room so new and modern with a little cheaper price when compare…

This hotel is super clean with very well appointed rooms. Beds very comfortable with beautiful pillows. Typically small as most are in singapore. Clarice at reception is the most kind, helpful and friendly receptionist I have come across in Singapore. Thankyou Clarice.

Mono chrome! Clean! Chinatown! Good location! However, we got a room without a window... which made the room feel a bit like a cell. I appreciate that some of the rooms with windows are more noisy, but at least we would have appreciated to be informed and asked before we came to the room...

I booked this hotel based off of the raving reviews on trip advisory but this is not as expected. The main issue was the room was dirty with hairs on the bed and floors and there were bugs in the bathroom shower, moths of some type all over the ceiling and ants all over the headboard, side table, and the walls around the bed. I know this is a boutique hotel and lower cost, but bugs are unacceptable!

The whole hotel was designed with only black and white colors, love it! However, the hallways were like a maze that we always had to spend extra time walking to our room. Sound proof is terrible in this ancient building, especially that our room has a window facing the street! There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, and people drink and chat loudly till dawn. Had to wear earplugs every night, otherwise it is impossible to fall asleep. On the other hand, for those that are not afraid of noise and sleeps well no matter what, Hotel Mono is a great choice considering its location and price.

Super hotel with lovely comfortable beds with top quality cotton bedding, great pillows and thick towels. Can’t fault this hotel. Lovely staff at the desk, extremely helpful and our double room was a decent size with three windows (no view) and a good sized bathroom with the best shower during our whole trip of South East Asia. My children had a slightly smaller twin which was fine as there is a good space for storing your cases under the beds. We saw the small rooms, very compact but adequate and cosy for a couple. Great location just around the corner from China town and near the red and brown bus route. The only criticism and it is the only, the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbours

Used to book in another hotel nearby, but I am glad I tried this out. Good value, but you don't feel you are staying in a budget hotel, but in a botique hotel. They are actually renovated old shophouses, and love the design of all white, so chic, with some black. Very minimalist & modern. But rooms are very small & compact, but perfectly fine for a solo traveler like me, but very well designed and functional. You got everything you need. Very clean, bed is comfy (but could be better), nice hot shower and strong wifi. Very central location in Chinatown but quiet side. Just 3 mins. walk to MRT. This will now be my go to hotel for sure.

I can not fault this hotel for it's location, fantastic a few minute walk from China Town and in a very safe location, look everything was close the location is amazing, however the rooms are a box, very small and see through shower so if you were sharing a room for two there is no privacy. No bar, no restaurant it is a basic budget hotel in a great location.
