If you don't want to spend a lot money on hotel, and just want a bed to sleep in, then this hotel is for you. Small rooms but clean, safe, with hot shower. Location is near mrt outram station, and walking distance to chinatown and maxwell foodcourt. Hotel is actually in a row of old shophouses converted into colourful hotels,...

It's located on very good located and quite convenience with many restaurants and 7-11. 5 minutes walk to Outram Park train station and 10 minutes walk to Chinatown. This hotel is very clean, comfortable bed and nice shower. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is not too many options but it's fine.

Chosen due to practical location close to core MRT lines and also to downtown itself, I chose this more reasonable hotel also to see if it was good for future business use. The room was nice, especially the bathroom. Bed comfortable too, I slept very well in it. Waking to rain, I found water running down the bathroom walls! Not...

This little boutique hotel, only minutes walk from the centre of Chinatown and MRT, has very modest rooms but the enough facilities and comfort to make your stay very enjoyable. Price we got booking online was good value compare to what is available in the area from the price range. Highly recommended for short stays

This is a small, great value for money hotel. It's in an excellent location on the edge of the china town area - walking distance to train stations with plenty of taxis going past as well Rooms are a little small but definitely clean and comfortable - would stay here again

Accomm in Singapore has become so expensive that it's hard to find value. This place offers it. Basic rooms, but clean and functional, with good bed and bathroom. Chinatown location is OK, if you want to be away from the Orchard Rd tourist trap. Much more authentic, with great little restaurants very close. Very good free WiFi, VERY basic breakfast....

This hotel is a small boutique hotel located in Keonk Saik road in Chinatown. I stayed there for 3 nights. The location is (depending what you're going to do in SG) good, close to touristy things in Chinatown and close to Outram Park MRT station (green and purple line, so it's easy to go the airport as well as places...

This is a well managed small boutique hotel located in Keong Saik Road. I like the location, just a block away to the bustle of authentic Chinatown, but located in a very quiet neighbourhood. It's also walking distance to the nearest MRT (Outram Park / Chinatown), only few stops to Marina Bay areas, but as Singapore is small so it's...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
