I actually didn't stay here, but went to book the family room for friends of mine who were planning to visit with their two kids. I was met at reception by two sullen middle-aged ladies at the reception whose refusal to crack a smile was almost comical. I explained what I was after quite politely, and was curtly told that...

We stayed in Sloane Court for 5 nights so had enough time to 'see' it in kll its glory. If you want a bland, typical international hotel, don't stay here. It will not be your bag at all. If however you are travelling and love family run hotels, run by locals who really do know their town - this is...

We had an very good time staying in this Hotel. It is off the main shopping areas but easily accessible by taxi's which go past on the main road all the time. Not a very expensive trip to Orchard Road only a couple of dollars. They have an excellent restaurant with a varity of courses at very resonable prices. The...

Not a top of the market hotel but conveniently located and very good value for money

Singapore is sorely lacking in affordable accomodations, and this hotel proves it. It is one of only a handful of "affordable" (80SGD and below) hotels in the city, and just like the others, it should probably be avoided. The rooms COULD have a certain old-style cachet, if they were not let go like the rest of the hotel is. Cleanliness...

I was recommended this hotel via hotel.com, did not see the reviews earlier but when I wanted to cancel for want of a better hotel, the daggers and blades came out. very bad impression - never want to deal with them again. this looks like the ugly side of singapore.

So Sad to see the Sloane Court sink to its present level. I and many of my friends have been using the hotel for over thirty years, yes thirty, maybe even longer!! It was and is a family owned business, but as regular guests we have seen the inner struggle for control within the said family for quite some time....

when i first come to this place i just felt i had a mistake on my trip to singapore.. we pay too much for 3 nite stay without breakfast, guess i could have more hospitality from other hotel in singapore with the same price. the room is a little bit old fashioned, but its relevant with their tagline, "Traditional English...

this is the last hotel you wanna stay. With the same price you can get much much better hotels in singapore. The owner tried to charge you in whatever way she can. The condition of the rooms are so bad. They have only the minimal basic stuff. The location is very bad as well. Not near the MRT station at...

I just spent one night at this hotel and while i was ready to give it an 'okay, but with some problems' until i was ready to check out. On first arrival, the hotel has definite 'run down' feeling. A dark and dank front desk smelling very strongly of mildew, it just feels tired. On the way to the room,...
