Great location, the hosts were very friendly and gave great recommendations on places to visit. The breakffast served in the very pleasant host room was excellent. I had a single room that was perfect for one person. Highly recommended. Danielle S.

I and 2 others stayed at Hostal Rio Amazonas from March 2nd through March 8th. The rooms are clean, there is plenty of warm water for the shower, and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this Hostal to anyone visiting Santiago. The staff were friendly, considerate, polite, and positive. I plan on visiting Santiago again next year and will...

Lovely place with wonderful host whom gives great recommendations on tours or attractions! They also put us in a 3-bedded room although we reserved and pay for twin! There are also shower facilities available at a small charge if you need to catch a night flight!

Very friendly and helpful reception as we arrived very tired from the airport. Rooms clean and straightforward. Good showers. Interesting older building. Easier to find by taxi than in your own car in the heavy traffic of the centre. Breakfast very good.

The father (owner) is always there to help during the day and his daughters always took shifts at night. They are extremely friendly and helpful including fixing our...

Took a few stops here in Feb-Mar 2012. Border location between new blocks and historical places. Good reachability by feet and car (underground station and central road within block). Parking place available. Cordial personnel and friendly atmosphere made my memories unforgetable.

Stayed 2 nights in this B&B and really liked it. The room was colorful and quiet. It is centrally located, within walking distance of the Plaza de Armas, restaurants in Bellavista and metro station. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, with fresh juice, fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese, jam and coffee/tea. They have wifi, but it didn't reach my...
