The reception and most rooms are located on the 6th floor of the building on Plaza de Armas, my room was on the 4th floor. I think the rest of the building is made up of appartments. (the elevators have gentlemen in them to push the buttons for you!) My room was big, had a double bed, and a small...

Great location with excellent view, but the hostel didn't feel very clean and the women's showers were not working. Little space within dormitories, which smelt of traveler's sweat and had no ventilation. Reception staff for the most part did not seem very approachable or friendly. It was cheaper than other options in Santiago, so perhaps you get what you pay...

Our fist stay was for 5 nights in a private room. The room was large, good comfy bed, good pillows, a little away from the reception area and the private bathroom was spacious. We had no problems with the hot water - although there were instructions on how to use it, so it could be considered a little fiddly. We...

Staff uses all the facilities, so you cant cook at dinnertime. Breakfast is one bread with jam. There lives a guy in the 8 dorm. No ladies shower, only public men shower. Everything is dirty. Do not go here!

Great friendly place to stay with spectacular views of the main square below day and night. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and one staff member even lent her personal hairdryer to my friend. Rooms are cleaned well. It's an old building though with old building issues but that adds to the rustic charm of the place.

Location location!! Breath taking view and just grand place. We found the staff so helpful and lovely! Shower pressure and general maintenance could be improved but unbeatable value with this price! Central location for food at anytime and supermarket nearby. We feel very safe here.

We stayed here for 3 nights, firstly in the private room without bathroom and after extending our stay in a dorm for a night. Breakfast is fine but not overwhelming. Pros: location is amazing, hostel looks like a loft, nice employees at the reception Cons: wifi didn't work in the rooms a bit away from the reception. Depositing your chile...

Very well located just in the centric Plaza de Armas of Santiago, but looks old and simple. Warm water barely worked in private room, breakfast was poor (even for a hostel) and wifi only works in common areas. I'd rather stay in other areas of the city (which are not too far from downtown anyway) and have better value for...

This place is perfectly located, right in the heart of Santiagos city square, can walk down and see the local talent busking away. Staff are friendly , the breakfast wasn't anything special, but downstairs has all a backpacker needs to fill their empty stomachs

We actually changed our flight and left Santiago early due to the filthiness of this hostel. I don't know why the other reviews are decent. Maybe they have a totally separate set of rooms from the ones we saw. The state of this place was APPALLING. The room was absolutely filthy when we walked in. Stained sheets, dirty, hair everywhere,...
